Tastes like hard cardboard, literally terrible. Plus, these have about the same amount of carbs as a regular small taco shell, so why would you do this to yourself?!

Not the best tasting but not too bad either. I tested my ketone level before and after eating tacos with these shells and my Ketone level didn't change. They're a great Keto meal option.

I am on a lo carb diet and these are great. For years I was making tacos with lo carb soft tortillas but really missed the crunch of a crispy taco shell. This was very welcome, now have the crunch and lo carb as well. Thank you, Old El Paso.

Totally Amazing!! We have not had crunchy tacos for 9 years, since we started our ultra low carb lifestyle. We totally enjoyed the "crunch". Well done done Old El Paso!!!

Cruncy cardboard? Bad enough I threw the box in the trash. No flavor what so ever. No one in my house liked these.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's a taco shell there, not much to it. Low can it's great. There is a little texture difference compared to like a taco bell shell, so yea. It's a taco shell lol

Nasty Shells

Wow, so very disappointed in these. Nasty cardboard taste, Weird soft crunch. Left an after taste after eating. The shells have tiny holes in them, for what? Don't know. But any liquid inside the shell from the meat or sauce, leak through. Shells were tasteless as far as a taco shell should be. Corn bran is not a good thing. So sorry we wasted out money on these. Never again Old El Paso! Not worth it! Yuck!

A great alternative! If you are expecting these to taste exactly like classic crunchy taco shells…manage those expectations lol these shells have a slightly different texture but still have a good crunch! Also, added bonus, since these are thicker they don’t break as easily. 10/10 will definitely buy again.
In simple terms... don't bother.

These taco shells are THEE WORST taco shells I’ve ever tasted in my entire life. I am grown, and I am very much disappointed with these cardboard… I mean “carb conscious” shells. One bite, and I immediately put them in the trash. Thank God I tasted them before filling them, I would’ve been punching the air. Lovely people of the world, save your time and money, God bless you all.

Absolutely the worst product I have bought from old el Paso. Out of 10 shells 4 were split apart. I put 4 of the good ones in the microwave for 30 seconds and they flattened. Tried to spread them apart and they split. I filled the 2 left with meat and when I bit down on them they split. Stay away from these.

This tasted like a paper plate that sat beside a bottle of perfume. So gross. I do not recommend and I am wondering what is wrong with the taste buds of everyone below me that said it was good and somehow this got four stars. Why are they punishing gluten free and low carb eaters with this product?

I would really like to say they are terrible but for what they are, you can’t expect much out of a low carb hard shell taco. I would buy them again but maybe to use like a tostada or Crunchwrap, not enough like real hard shells to just eat like a taco.

As someone who follows a low-carb lifestyle, I thought these were great! Very nice to have the option for a crispy taco when I have only had low-carb tortillas for the last several years on our regular family taco nights. I actually don’t understand the negative reviews. Give them a try for yourself.
