It's pleasant and successfully kept him odor-free throughout the day—a huge plus! However, when it came to dryness, it was not quite dry (which he prefers). The main issue was the soft solid formula and how it's dispensed. This product requires you to twist the base to push the soft solid through small holes before you can apply it. "I had to continually stop applying just to twist out more product," was his main complaint. It really interrupted the application process. Overall, he was happy with the odor protection and the Swagger scent. But because of the moist formula and the frustrating application mechanism, he'll be sticking with his original Old Spice deodorant.

I’m not a huge fan of creamy deodorant that dispenses out of holes but it does keep me dry all day, which is a challenge for me, so I’ll take it. Maybe creamy textured deodorant and antiperspirant is what I needed all along.

The Swagger scent is present without being overpowering and the sweat protection is perfect, keeping me dry all day long. An interesting surprise with this is that it's not a regular solid, it is a soft solid antiperspirant stick. It has a set of holes at the top where the deodorant is dispensed similar to the gel type deodorants. Unlike the gel type this applies nice and smooth without feeling wet or sticky. This is a Sweat Defense product so it has a slightly higher percentage antiperspirant than the regular line of Old Spice antiperspirant sticks which enables it to keep you sweat free longer. This is a great product to keep you dry and battle odor all day long without experiencing any stickiness, residue, or irritation.
