Luckily, @oldspice released a body wash that was able to capture that salty dampness of the deep sea. This wash not only cleansed but exfoliated as it did. Another thing I loved about it. My husband felt that the scent was a little too reminiscent of the body washes he used back in high school: very strong and nostalgic in a way that didn’t feel as elevated or modern as he would’ve liked. While it definitely lathers well and leaves the skin feeling clean, the fragrance overpowered the experience and lingered in a way that wasn’t his preference. For someone who enjoys that classic Old Spice punch and wants a very bold, long-lasting scent, this could be a good option. But for us, it just didn’t fit into the more subtle, grown-up fragrance profile he now gravitates toward.
