I switched a few months ago because I used old spice back in the early 2000’s and I can’t say how disappointed I am with this product. All my shirts are left with a horrible white residue, that can only come out, if I use spray and wash, before putting them in the laundry. Do not buy this.

I love the fragrance, but its performanceness is unmatched! Best deodorant I've ever used. I'm a huge fan of the clear gel, too.

I've used many different competitor's deodorant and this has outlasted his sweat test. It also did not leave any nasty residue on his shirt when he put it on. It was wonderful and he is going to continue using this product!

I also really like the names of their products - Captain: The Scent of Command! Wow, what a name! Now, I do not like white deodorants. Even when they say that they do not transfer or smear, they do for me. I have watched videos on how to do it without getting my shirts white, but I am not that good of an acrobat. Be that as it may, I still wanted to be the CAPTAIN! I opened the stick and immediately loved the scent. It is clean and crisp and smells of promise. There is a ruggedness to it but it is balanced with a soft chalky smell. The smell is fresh when I apply and my wife likes it too, which is the only real test..am i right? Try this for yourself and you will be happy that you did.

It's got good 24hr wear even on a hot day ( 100 degrees and up type weather) . I liked that it actually worked as an antiperspirant. Which I prefer over the clear gel types, but the only con is that residue gets on my colored shirts and I've had it show through a bit on a colored blue tee. I like that the scent of this is strong, at least to me it is. It has a manly scent which is what I like. Using this deodorant I do not have to touch up. I only apply it once in the morning before work. I work indoors where it's hot and I don't worry about being stinky when I use this deodorant.

It keeps bad the negative smells at a minimum and kept his armpits dry, even in very hot humid conditions. It went on smoothly and was not oily or over dry. The pleasant scent lasted over 24 hours, even the next morning I did not wake up to stinky armpits in my face! This is definetly a product I will be purchasing again for my husband.

In the past the solids that I have used have been very overpowered in terms of scent. I was very surprised as to how pleasant using this product is. I don't quite know if this is a positive or a negative, buit I did find the product a bit difficult to scrub off in the shower. Asaide from that, is a solid is your thing, I'd definitely recommend this.

He only ever uses Old Space deodorant because it tends to have a nice smell and stays on throughout the day. He seemed to really like the smell of the Captain scented one - it's not too strong which is always a plus. It doesn't leave residue or any sticky feeling when you put it on either! It applies smoothly and again, the smell is not overpowering like most deodorants! Since he only really uses Old Spice, I will say that compared to competitors, it's one of the top best deodorants for men. It isn't too expensive, but it is high quality.

It guarantees the scent will not come off and won't stop working until you want it off. I felt it was strong, had a good scent, and long lasting. In the beginning it got a little bunched up, bit thick but after that it was perfectly fine. It continued to work even in the humid weather, the scent was still as strong and stayed dry. I would recommend this product especially for people who sweat a lot, work in humid conditions or feel they have to consistently re apply their deodorant.
