If the press-on nail touches the sides of your finger, try a smaller size - if the press-on nail sits perfectly on your natural nail without needing to press it down, that press-on is too big. The style was really cute but I don't feel like they fit my finger nails very well. The nails either seem really big or really small. They are made of a thick quality material, and they look nice; however, the sizes aren't compatible with my fingernails. They are either a little painful, or I have to file them down on the sides to find 10 that fit comfortably.

I tried these nails after doing acrylic for many years. They looked great and were easy to apply. But, when they started coming off on their own (after about 3 weeks , which I was impressed by), I was left with a fungal infection under 5 of my real nails (4 on one hand and 1 on the other)! Dark brown, yellow and green spots and 2 cracked nails. It’s getting better with a topical treatment so left my nails very sensitive and soft.

I have had these nails on for over a week and they have not budged. For my job I’m always lifting and moving products and they have survived. I have also washed many loads of laundry, dishes and done normal household tasks without giving much thought to them. And people think I got them at the salon! I could never go back to other press ons

They’re cute and I just put them on about 1 hour ago. I should have known from pictures, but these nails are not XS. They’re fairly long. I’m used to very short natural nails. I’m going back to my nail tech to cut and shape, so I don’t mess them up.

Prep is key, so make sure that you’re following these steps. 1) Avoid water for 1 hour before (and one hour after!). 2) Gently push back and buff away cuticles + your nail plate to create the perfect nail surface. 3) Use the prep pad to wipe away any dust or lingering oil. 4) Bonus - use Nail Strengthener too boost strength and add more priming benefits. These nails are adorable in the store, and as soon as I saw them I needed to try them. My main complaint is quality—I followed the glue instructions and held them onto my natural nail for a long time to secure them. In less than 12 hours, I had lost 5 of them because they popped off immediately! I was so disappointed.

These are really pretty, but I’ve found that the glue that comes in these Olive & June kits is not good. Like, it won’t even last a day. I tried them with glue from a different kit I had and I got them to last maybe 10 days, which is good for me because I’m really not careful with them. Even though the glue isn’t good I still give them a high rating because the actual nails themselves are good quality, very pretty, and the sizes are easier for me than some other kits. It would good for them to fix the glue issue though because not everyone is going to have other glues lying around.
