About the Author
Tom Neven is an author, editor, and former Marine who served seven years as an M-60 machine gunner and a U.S. embassy guard in Africa and Europe. He covered the first Gulf War for The Marine Corps Gazette, and has written for numerous newspapers and magazines. He is currently senior editor of Plugged In, a Focus on the Family magazine/Web site.
