I never write a review but there has been such a awful formula change! Ive been taking these prenatal vitamins for at least 8 years, this is the first time that I noticed a strong spoiled fish smell. I opened the jar and there was a melted orange oil ring around the jar, and the pills are greasy. I nearly gagged swallowing the pills due to the rancid smell. At first I thought it was just a bad bottle, but I opened up the second bottle that I bought and it was the same. Im very sad because now I am going to have to find another company to buy prenatals from. This just isnt edible!

I bought 2 bottles. finished the first one no problem. I opened the second bottle and noticed an immediate and very strong fish smell. the inside of the jar was also coated in an orange film. these pills are repulsive to take. even when I shove them to the back of my throat still leaves a very strong after taste. also it leaves the same oily film and smell in my hand from just holding the pill.

Because these were great in the past I ignored the more recent comments about fish. DON'T IGNORE. These are greasy, smell like fish, and the taste would turn the strongest stomach. Hours after consumption I am still burping fish. I keep trying to take them because I don't want to waste them but I nearly threw up this morning. They are going in the trash.

I used them throughout whole pregnancy no problem. Been using them for 8 months after birth cause breastfeeding and the last two bottles are so fishy I have to plug my nose and swallow cause the taste is SO disgusting. I thought mine went bad so I bought another bottle cause these seem like great vitamins. But this bottle was the save if anything it is actually more fishy and metallic tasting with yellow stuff all in the bottle. They must have changed the formula recently. I hate taking these now. I don’t look forward too when it’s time to take. Looking for new vitamin.

If you are pregnant steer clear from FOLIC ACID. this is the synthetic form of FOLATE. your body cannot methylate folic acid !!! LOOK for FOLATE and b12 for you and your baby. Also look into folic acid and the link to tongue and lip ties. consider liver or organ supplements with whatever prenatal you decide. ORGANIC. and AVOID fillers, binders, gums "natural flavors" artificial flavors maltodextrin sucralose palm oil, any other seed oil for that matter etc !! the fact that they feed so much garbage to pregannt women and babies is disgusting

I just bought a brand new bottle of this last week & Ive never had an issue until now. I’ve taken these pills for almost 4 years now! I opened the bottle & got a huge whiff of fish. There was yellow stuff covering the bottle too. I’m returning these for sure. I guess I’ll need to search for a new prenatal.
