She was originally trained as a theater designer, and she graduated from Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge with an MA in children's book illustration. This book is hilariously clever! The illustrations are magnificent. The storytelling draws you into counting while solving a mystery simultaneously. This is hands down one of our Favoritest (yes, that’s our word) books to read. It’s a family favorite! Kate Read is brilliant!
