ONYX Professional Hard as Hoof S.O.S Nail Patches - 20ct

It's a little difficult to put on. The patches stick together when putting them on. It gets messy.

I wanted to see if these really worked so I did one hand overnight. I've done dip in the past and it has messed up my nails. This, unfortunately didn't do anything of note to my nails. The concept is great and the wraps stayed on all night.

I haven't even tried this product, but I watched the instructional video provided- I can't believe that this product is being sold to strengthen your natural nail but yet in the instructional video you're showing it being applied on artificial nails -are they out of of your minds? Do they even care at this point what type of garbage they're trying to sell to the public…?? Do they even care? Don't buy this crap!

Overly complicated design with awful adhesive and very hard to put all of them on yourself.

This is very much the worst designed product I have ever used. If you’re in healthcare, you’re familiar with a Tegaderm.. which is a very difficult to use adhesive. This was made overly complicated unnecessarily. It took me 20 minutes to put them on, and I needed help from my husband for the last. I don’t know how well they actually work. But i can think of numerous other ways to design this without being so cumbersome

Really hard to apply, and a lot of wrappers/garbage. I managed to get 6 nails done before giving up.

It’s a great product! I put them on every finger on a break between gel applications and it helped substantially. They are a bit challenging to put them on every finger though.

These patches could be really easy to put on - like a bandage - but instead there are too many steps and layers of packaging to apply, and the thin clear adhesive tears very easily. They also come in only 3 sizes which won't fit most nails properly. They could have just done a hydrocolloid style fingertip style X type bandage infused with the ingredients they needed, like various brands of pimple patches do. Also, I applied one to a nail I had broken and filed down that had deep vertical ridges and when I took it off the next morning the nail was thinner, many of the deeper ridges were gone, but the tip had a big chunk taken out of it; it softened my cuticle but made the nail overall more fragile and in worse condition than it was prior to application. When the nail grows back all the way it will likely remain thinner for a long time until the spot where the patch was used grows all the way out. These might work - despite being overpriced and overly complicated to apply - if you have very thick and strong (but short nails only in length and the largest size won't fit anything longer than 18mm) nails that need more flexibility and are brittle due to hyperkeratinization, but if you have thin, weak, fragile, peeling nails I definitely don't recommend them.

I applied them last night on my nails and after a one use you can see the shine on my nails. I highly recommend it to give it a try if you are a nail loving person.

As for effectiveness, I do have peeling cuticles at all times and it does moisturize the nail a bit but doesn’t really get rid of anything, but I assume it prevents it from happening in the future. However I feel like lotion would do the same job

My son's nail got slammed in a door at school and these even helped him in the healing process. They all come in a reusable case too! I'll be buying these!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've never heard of a nail mask before, but this concept is brilliant. I had pretty low expectations, especially since I had just removed my gel nails a little too aggressively (before picture included). I wasn't a fan of having the masks on my nails for so long but I have sensory issues so it might not be so bad for someone else. After the mask, my nails looked and felt more hydrated and and healthier, and visibly looked better. I definitely think these are a necessity for when acrylic/gel nails are removed and you feel like your natural nails need a pick me up. I would love to have more than 2 uses in a set but that's just me being nitpicky. ((Will update with after photo soon))

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I found the application pretty complicated, it is not intuitive at all, it has a bunch of steps and for me was kind of messy. The packaging is fun, it comes in a fun yellow box and it is easy to use. I think this product has helped my nails, but they are still improving, my nails still need help, but this product have definitely helped with the strength making them harder, I hope this allows my nails to grow long like they used to be when i was younger.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was the perfect test subject for this product as I use press on nails. I buff my nails with a nail file and the glue is very harsh on my natural nails when taking the press ons off. As you can see from my before and after picture, this product did improve the hydration and physical appearance of my nails after about 8 hours of being on overnight. I was skeptical but it truly does work. Wish there were more than 3 sizes to choose from but even if the patch is larger than your nail it will still work.

I love the packaging— it is bright, but compact box that can be reused for other products as well. The strips are easy to put in a purse or travel carry on alone to always have with you on the go.
