Description
You can kill weeds without harming your lawn* with Ortho® WeedClear™ Weed Killer for Lawns Concentrate. This weed killer kills over 250 common weeds, including dandelions, clover, poison ivy, sumac, chickweed, and dollarweed (see product label for complete weed list). It is made especially for residential lawns and contains three proven ingredients to specifically target and destroy other common lawn weeds, without harming your grass*. This herbicide works by entering weeds through their leaves, and moves throughout the plant to kill all the way down to the root. You'll see visible results in hours, and it becomes rainproof within one hour upon drying. Easily apply this concentrated formula with an Ortho® Dial N Spray® or tank sprayer. People and pets may enter the treated area after the spray has dried. For best results, use when weeds are small and actively growing in the spring or fall. Great, but.....
This product works really well and I have used it for years. However I ordered a large amount in order to not run out all the time and it was to come with an applicator wand. It did NOT come with the wand. Since I wanted it only as a refill item anyway, it worked but if I had wanted it as advertised I would have been very unhappy.

I can’t even tell I spent 2 hours spraying my entire yard and all around my house….. 😒

Crabgrass problems
The front cover of the gallon WeedClear clearly shows crabgrass as one of the types to be killed. However, reviews, instructions, and on-line writeups say that crabgrass is not affected. Who is lying? I purchased it primarily for crabgrass. (I will save it and try it in the spring when the crabgrass is just starting to spout.)

Provided great control over weeds in the new lawn
Planted new grass around new patio project. Waiting for grass to grow, the weeds took over. After letting things get out of hand, We sprayed twice with the hose connection version and the weeds were almost gone. I thought we were doomed to deal with the buttonleaf, clover, ragweed, velvet leaf, thistle and host of other weeds. But it kept them at bay and allowed the grass to overtake the bare spots and thicken. I would recommend this to anyone trying to control weeds in their lawn areas.

Don't purchase if you have Spotted spurge
I purchased this product to stop the Spotted spurge in my yard. The Spotted spurge has increased and this didn't do a thing. Sprayed as directed under 90 degrees outside, no rain, it has been a week and nothing. I am finished with Ortho, the website even states it will control Spotted spurge but that is not true. The dandelions have withered, only reason I'm giving it 2 stars.

This is useless. I bought it a local hardware store and sprayed it on multiple weeds (lots of clover). Most of the weeds didn’t wilt one bit. What a waste of my time and money.
