This stuff does the trick but the weeds come back much faster than other unsafe brands. We have a sweet labradoodle though and I don’t want to risk spraying something else that she might ingest and get sick. I do have to use this with more frequency than I would other products and it’s more pricey. It’s worth the peace of mind.

If you have full or tall weeds, expect to have to spray more than once
This product does a good job killing the weeds above the ground, but the roots are still there & active. I sprayed the worst weeds maybe a week ago, the part above the ground is dead & in a compost bag. Yesterday I noticed some of the "dead" weeds starting to grow again. I resprayed again this morning spraying the ground where the new growth was coming in & spraying any exposed roots.

Hello! Thank you for sharing your experience with Spruce. Spruce works by killing only the green parts of the plant that are in contact with the spray, dehydrating them down to the root. By thoroughly spraying the entire green parts, the roots will eventually die. For larger or more established weeds, multiple applications may be necessary to achieve full control. 10/10 would recommend. Picked this up on clearance over the winter. Just used it this Spring. In about a day it melted away all the weeds that got sprayed. Smells minty. I only found the refill at the time, so I used it in a pump sprayer and diluted with about a 1/3 part water and it was still very strong. I would definitely buy it again.

It worked well on smaller, newer weeds and helped keep things from spreading. That said, it didn’t fully eliminate some of the more stubborn, deep-rooted weeds even after multiple applications. I appreciate the refill size and the more eco-conscious approach, and I’d still use it as part of regular upkeep, just not as a one-and-done solution for tougher weeds.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product did affect the weeds and grass and most anything sprayed but did not fully kill off all the vegetation. It will require repeat treatment to fully eradicate some of the sturdy weeds. Easy to use though!

I used it on a variety of weeds, just a simple application to the whole weed, not just the root, was sufficient ninety-five percent of the time. A few of the weeds I sprayed had some of the effect, but were not completely killed. The results were noticeable within a few hours of spraying. I found the container and the power wand applicator delivers an easy, continuous spray which is great for big or small weeds.

I love how the bottles has safety buttons so is childproof. I love that it is pet friendly so it is safe for our little man. It works great and is fast acting. The grass in my driveway and sidewalk cracks started to wilt within the hour. I also love that it doesn’t have a strong overpowering smell. I just found our new go to product. Great product.
