Oru Kayak Paddle, Paddle for Kayaks, 1ct

Easy to assemble as advertised. I bought this for my 15 year old son. After watching the video, he assembled the kayak quickly and with ease.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have loved the Oru paddle for over 3 years now. It’s still in great shape and has been easy to store in the trunk of my car along with my Beach LT kayak!

Carrying strap broke on 2nd use. Had to send back and get new one, awaiting return. Otherwise worked ok

I purchased my Inlet for my 70th birthday, the first time I put it together was in my gazebo. Piece of cake. My maiden paddle was not full of grace. Getting in I sat on the back of the seat, getting out I nearly broke my hip. I must have looked a aight. Fearing I might have to return it, I watched a few videos to see how I could be more successful. A couple of weeks ago I went on a 10 mile river paddle. It was wonderful. I had absolutely no problem getting in or out. My Inlet is the best. Light weight, easy to put together, easy to clean and store. I'm so happy I did this for myself.

I got this kayak for my son. He's in the army and travels frequently. This is a great compact easy to transport for his recreation time. He absolutely loves it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The paddle handle and shape are not great for paddling longer distances. I don't like to wear gloves when I paddle, but I feel like I have no choice with how the paddle shaft is wrapped. Each coil of wrap on the handle creates its own hotspot, which is especially difficult to deal with when your hands are wet. The paddle shaft is also perfectly cylindrical and slightly too large, contributing to strain on average sized hands.

Love the paddle especially the fact that the length can be adjusted.

I like the way it takes apart and fits in the pack and it is adjustable for length and it is strong and durable.

I bought the Lake with the paddle and I am over the moon! I am paddling all the calm ponds, rivers and salt water inlets in midcoast Maine. It fits in the back of my car with room to spare and is light and easy to carry.

I like being out on the water, but getting in and out of my Lake model is a challenge. I haven’t yet found a way not to get wet, including a full soaking more than once. It spoils the fun to be in wet clothing while paddling.

Coming from carbon fiber paddles these are expectedly heavy making a longer paddling excursion a little more tiresome. I do like how they come apart in 3-sections.

Our new Oru Paddle is truly comparable to any if our two piece paddles. Very lightweight, but still provides plenty of pull!

I love it! I would only make the seat more comfortable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't recommend this paddle. The fiberglass has felt unfinished and has cut me twice in addition to general micro abrasions. I am also a rock climber, so the issue is not that I have soft hands. I like that it fits in the kayak, but I think there are other paddles out there that could do that job.

Love my Lake Sport. The ease of transporting, set up and comfort is perfect for me. I'm 59, female. Having a traditional kayak that I would need to haul on top of car would just mean I couldn't get out as often and be spontaneous. Love it!

I bought the Oru Lake Sport. It fills my needs completely....it's easy to assemble/disassemble; light and easy to carry; sturdy and easy to paddle on flat water. I no longer have to struggle to attach a rack to the roof of my car and to lift my "traditional" kayak onto the rack. I now will go paddling much more often than I would otherwise.

I really liked my new paddle but unfortunately someone took it from behind my car as I was loading everything up after the first time using it .I’m reaching out to Oru to get a replacement. Hopefully I can get a discount code to use on a new one.
