Ototo Holiday Gift Wood Jerry Giraffe Toaster Tongs

I received this Giraffe Toaster Tongs in exchange of my honest reviews. I like the design of this tong and the quality of this tong. It hold from the toaster easily but not from plate. So, I don't recommend this tong.

Please note that I have received this product in exchange for my honest review. These giraffe toaster tongs are adorable. I've never seen anything like them. I used them when pulling out pieces of bread from the toaster and they grabbed the bread easily. There were some crumbs remaining on the tongs so I washed them in the dishwasher and they washed well. The only issue I have with this product is that it is only strong enough to grab bread and not anything heavier than this, so it is basically a one use product. I do think this product would be useful in helping children start to make breakfast because they would like the cute giraffe face.

I received the Ototo Jerry Giraffe Tongs for free in exchange for my honest review. Could do with, could do without. These tongs saved my fingertips from handling hot toast and bagels but while they do the job well, my main concern is the quality and the practicality. It only works well for a toaster if the slots are wide enough and if the food is sticking out more. Even then, I have concerns about putting wood into a toaster even if it’s finished toasting. There are clearly wood bits sticking out of the tongs which could go into food or eventually cause splinters. It’s relatively easy to clean but I can feel some of the wood catching on the sponge. And, although the glue job is decent on the pair of tongs I got, I’m not sure they would hold well over time over many washes. Since these tongs are made of sturdy wood, they need a bit more squeezing power, which may not be ideal for those with arthritis or hand pain. Storage is also a bit of a pain due to their length (pretty much the length of my toaster) and the tongs part, about 2 inch width, can catch on a drawer. I would not buy the giraffe tongs at this price point, even if it were on sale.

I received this complimentary in exchange for my honest review. These wooden tongs are so convenient for taking toasts out of a toaster or in my case taking a hot croissant out of my toaster oven. I used to burn my fingers before by grabbing them with my bare hands, but not anymore thanks to these adorable tongs!! They add such a cute aesthetic touch to my kitchen!
