Overall, I'm happy with how this island functions and the look of it in my space. It came in 1 very large, heavy box and therefore had damage done to it during shipment. That I was not happy about but decided to put it together and see if the damaged areas could be remedied as I didn't want to have to wait for replacements and have the possibility of damage again. The instructions and assembly were a bit challenging even for a seasoned DIY-er! It definitely takes 2 people to assemble it. Some of the visible pieces looked like they were just primed and never fully painted- disappointing. So with the damaged areas and primed areas, I was able to repaint and cover over them......not ideal and not how it should have came but I was ready for my kitchen project to be complete. The drawers are nice and have almost full extension glides. That I was very happy about! So 4 stars for this island.
