Worst case ever
Case looks great but honestly one of the worst OtterBox I’ve ever purchased. The first year of having my phone I used a different OtterBox and decided to try this one out first week the back glass cracked.

It's functional
The phone case looks great. I don’t know about the other reviews saying it isn’t protective. I have dropped mine a lot, especially, in my garage out of my Tahoe on a concrete floor and no cracked screen protector (Zagg brand) or cracked phone. I also have little people that like to run with it, drop it, hide it lol. The only negative thing I can say about this case is that I’ve had it almost two years now (they aren’t built to last forever unfortunately) and like another reviewer said, it separates or cracks in certain areas. Mine is cracking along the back side where it says Otterbox, and around the volume buttons, otherwise, it’s worth the money since you’re paying for the Brand name Otterbox. There are other Otterboxes like the Defender Series that give more protection for about $40 more.

Cracked phone at first drop
The case itself is cute. I bought it because I’ve had a similar case before for my iPhone 8 and it protected so well. Thought it would be the same for my iPhone 12. I propped my phone up to talk on the phone and it slipped onto its face. My glass screen protector was cracked immediately. I was confused and gave it another chance. Same thing happened and it cracked AGAIN. For a $50 case there’s no reason it should’ve cracked from flipping at no distance. I had it 5 days. So I don’t recommend. OtterBox makes different cases that are actually protective.

I had this for less then a year, and all the rubber bits broke (like around the volume buttons and the charging port) I wouldn’t mind if I hadn’t spent so much on it

Love this case so much! It’s a very cute case and works well I’ve dropped my phone a few times and the case has worked very good didn’t fall off or get scratched. All of the buttons work I don’t have to push down super hard to get the button to work. It’s a good sturdy case. Highly recommend. Otter box is one of my favorite brands for phone cases

Buy if you want to pay $250 to fix your cracked screen
I would rate it a negative number if possible. I’ve always bought Otterbox because they have always protected my phone. My phone cracked with this case. Costing me $250 to get it fixed. Buy any other case except for this over priced one. With all the bad reviews at what point will Otterbox pull this case and issue reimbursements for all of their customers having to replace their screens?

Doesn’t protect the phone at all. I’ve had this a little over 2 weeks and just shattered my back screen on my phone dropping it from waist height onto tile.

Don't bother buying
Wish I could give zero stars. I don’t know what this is, but it is not like any OtterBox I’ve had before, and I’ve owned the slimmer Symmetry kind. This is not worth the $$$!

I didn’t care for this phone cover in person. It looked very cheap and I couldn’t believe how over priced it is. I actually love otter box products but this Symmetry one seemed so flimsy and non-protective.

Back of phone shattered with this case on.
My phone has never not had this case on it, and I recently discovered the back is entirely shattered. 0/10 would recommend. I have never had more than an average drop. I’m just disappointed because otterbox has been such a great staple at protecting until this product.

Not the besf qualkty
I’m disappointed with the quality of this case. I’ve had this case about 6-8 months and the paint has come off the edges. The volume button has popped off as well recently. I’m not entirely sure about the shock absorption with this case in particular since my screen protector cracked fairly quickly.
