Sad
The back of my phone still managed to smash anyway. Put the case on as soon as I got it. I don’t know if it hit in a magical angle where the crack may have started at the camera or if the weird little circle on the second part of the case actually contributed to the cracking but the back of my phone is literally smashed. Wish I could take a photo of the back of my phone but I can’t use my phone to take a picture of itself.

We’re sorry to hear about your damaged device. Our cases are very protective, but some variables can’t be predicted. We’re happy to send a new OtterBox product under our product warranty, but we are unable to extend our warranty to the device itself, as we are not the manufacturer. Please reach out to us via chat with any questions or if you would like a new case.

Shipped a used case
Packaging was ripped open and destroyed. Case full of crumbs. Requested replacement a week ago and returned this one at the same time yet still no new case.

Not really MagSafe
My issue with this case is, it says "MagSafe" in the item name and in the discription it is listed "MagSafe Compatable" In my opinion it is not MagSafe compatable, the case is too thick for the phone to use the internal magnets to attach to MagSafe stands or Mounts. I have a MagSafe Mount in my car, but this case will not work. In my opinion it is not MagSafe Copatable. By MagSafe Compatable I beleive what they mean is wireless charging compatable. The phone will still charge on both Magsafe and regular non magsafe wireless chargers. The case does protect the phone very well, I have used many otterbox's in the past and love how well they protect the phone. Just wish I could use it with my mount in my car.

Your disappointment is certainly understandable and we're very sorry for the confusion about the specific MagSafe compatibility of the Commuter Series case. As you noted, a charge will pass from a MagSafe charger through to the iPhone held within, though the case itself does not have any internal magnetic properties to allow a "locking" magnetic connection. We will make certain to share your feedback with our marketing team so they can determine how best to proceed with messaging going forward. In the meantime, our Symmetry Series+ case would potentially be a better option for your needs and taste—specifically with your MagSafe car mount. https://www.target.com/p/otterbox-apple-iphone-14-pro-symmetry-plus-case-with-magsafe-black/-/A-86801931#lnk=sametab Best, OtterBox Customer Service Team
