Yes, it is very common for clear phone cases, including the OtterBox Symmetry Series for MagSafe Clear case, to yellow over time. This is due to a natural chemical process called oxidation that occurs in the polymers (like TPU or silicone) typically used in these cases. While you can slow down the process, it's difficult to completely prevent or reverse the yellowing once it's begun. To slow it down: Clean your case frequently with soap and water to remove oils and grime. Avoid direct sunlight and excessive heat. Wash your hands regularly. To address existing yellowing: Some surface yellowing due to grime might be reduced with a mixture of dish soap and warm water, or baking soda and water. However, this won't reverse the material degradation itself. Ultimately, if you want a perpetually clear case, you'll likely need to replace it periodically as it yellows. Gross Phone Case
Absolutely pathetic. Looked like it had been on the floor of a warehouse for years being eaten and defecated on by mice. Didn’t even have a bottom of the case. Had to order one from Amazon just to be sure we got a new one. And then the cherry on top was Target wants us to send the one we received back in order to get our refund? Terrible customer service, terrible product, very disappointing to see. If I could rate less than one star, I would.

Don't buy it
I dropped my phone and the corner that made impact with the ground cracked. The case literally slipped off the corner when it fell and crack my screen protector and I bought the right size. It started turning yellow with two weeks of use too. I would not recommend this phone case. It didn’t protect my phone and it was too expensive to have slipped off like that.

Not worth the price. Otterbox makes much better cases than this one. It cracked the first time I dropped it and my friend had the same issue with hers, so I know I didn’t just get a faulty one. Disappointed because I liked how it looked.

Not worth it
We purchased this phone case based on positive reviews and the product description. Within a couple of weeks the case started to change color (turn yellow then brown at the edges) and then started to break on the side. We were very disappointed based on the price paid - definitely not worth it.

Bought otterbox Clear symmetry to replace a Gear4 clear which rubber split at the plug area
I like clear case and thin. What I dislike about all clear brands is the rubber or silicon especially at the cord insert is flimsy and I had another brand that broke Gear4 after a year and half. And the strange part is I only charge it with magna wireless charging unit. I did not realize it was broken but had problems sliding into my pocketbook on that end. Not sure how it happened. Could have got caught on fabric. Trying otterbox. Have had symmetry before but not the clear. Have had speck but also rubber gets yellow and stretch. I have a red phone and cannot find anything that matches it. So I get clear. Good deal. They seem to increase the drop from 2x to 3x for 2024. I have 14. And it fit fine. And it’s not like I take it off often. It’s only one I use. I do not know what limited warrantee means but I remember it was in referring to the protection of phone. Not the cover. There is no warrantee on box. But I know how well the Defender is made. Just wish they could make a slim one for small pocketbooks or pockets. My son has the newer Defender series with magasafe. It is sand proof. Not as thick as older defender. You could drop it off roof and it would not break. But again even the plastic cover for the plug has hinge that is cheap. If it broke off would not make big deal.
