Great protection, I would recommend this case for anyone who wants the ultimate protection without a belt clip and other parts many don’t use. It does slip into a front pocket but it is a large phone.

The sound is super muffled. Even on highest volume it’s difficult to hear. I found myself putting my phone on speaker and still holding it to my ear to hear, especially in loud environments.

It muffles the sound a whole lot! Sounds like your in a tunnel when on speaker phone and distorts music, I have always had life proof cases and they did it as well. But not as much as this one does. Case is a week or two old and is clean and clear of debris.

Needs better protection around the camera lense. The power port cover is better by being made of rubber and is more flexible as those pieces previously broke on other models. That cover does however block the microphone and I have to open it so folks can hear me. I’m not being a baby…but it could be better. I’m just thankful I have the option.

With each new phone I get - the second order of business is to buy one of these cases. My phone goes into “summer mode” with these cases as I can enjoy a worry free summer of sun, sift, sand and soil with my phone by me every step of the way. These are excellent! I have gone back and forth on this case and untimely removed it a few days ago. I tried keeping it on for a few weeks to see if I just needed to wear it in, but it never got better. I like that it’s waterproof and protects my camera but apart from that, the features really take a downturn. Muffled noises while on calls or even listening to music made it difficult, people also couldn’t hear me very well but I found it really frustrating when I couldn’t tap the screen without feeling like I was punching it with my fingers. I miss my old ones that I used faithfully on the 8.
