It’s great worth the money. It’s thicker than you think but it don’t bother me.

Good protection. The back of the case is not flush with the phone. It often bends and creates little popping sounds, and rainbow colors on the screen. My only qualm is the fit.

I always buy Otterbox for my phones - it protects from damage

Good case. Just wish that the screen covering was more responsive, though to be fair I did opt for waterproof. Also wish it had a hard encasement cover similar to the one for my Ipad.

Solid case. The waterproof aspect is really nice. Glad the case has a screen protector built in. Phone feels very safe and secure. However, because the case is airtight to keep water out, the phone is sitting in a resonant box. Sounds coming out the speaker sound a bit muffled and boomy due to no ports in the case for air to escape. The vibrations of rubbing your fingers across the screen while recording a video are picked up by the phone mic and cause rubbing sounds in your videos. Also, the clear plastic cover over the camera lenses can create unwanted reflections and flares in pics/video. Your phone will certainly be protected, but with some trade offs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had high hopes for the OtterBox Fre Series waterproof case for my iPhone 16 Pro Max, especially considering the brand reputation. Unfortunately, this case has been a major letdown. The built-in screen protector is a dust magnet and severely impacts touch sensitivity. Face ID works intermittently, and typing is a nightmare. It also scratches very easily. MagSafe compatibility is another weak point. The magnetic connection is noticeably weaker than other MagSafe accessories I’ve used, making it hard to keep the phone attached to chargers or stands. Charging is slower and sometimes doesn’t connect at all unless the phone is perfectly aligned. The case also adds a lot of bulk—more than I expected—even compared to previous OtterBox models. For something this thick, you’d think it would feel more secure or premium, but the buttons are mushy and the ports are hard to access. Overall, this case feels like a step backward for OtterBox. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for serious protection or reliable MagSafe performance.

1 star because I can’t hear very well out of it. Like the color but the screen on the front of the case has a pretty decent gap so it’s hard to type

I like the it is pretty slim, and doesn't weigh as much as other otterboxes I have tried in the past. It actually does protect your phone and allows for you to put your phone in water which is pretty cool. I'd recommend.
