OtterBox iPhone 16 Pro Symmetry Series Soft Touch for MagSafe Case - Dark Echo

This case is exactly what my husband needed. The Apple silicone case doesn’t provide enough protection, and the regular Symmetry is too slippery. He has owned both cases, and this is clearly the winner. It’s the best of both worlds. It won’t slip off the counter or out of your hands. Plus the texture feels really nice to the touch. Plus, since he’s careful with his things, and rarely drops his phone, so with a screen protector, his phone is more than safe enough. I constantly drop mine, so I got a Defender Pro Series XT for my new 17 pro, but it’s too bulky for him and complete overkill. This is perfect for his needs, and just what he was looking for.

I have a strong preference for the feel and grippiness of this soft touch case.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The fit is very exact and perfect for my phone. The MagSafe charging works great with both a charging plate and a backup battery pack. I brought this on a very lengthy hike and it worked great. The black is very sleek and minimal, which is what I look for in a phone case. I do wish that it came with some sort of protection for the cameras, which I always feel are vulnerable during falls.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Snaps easily onto my phone and is snug enough not to move or fall off. The soft series is flexible and easy to hold, and fully covers my phone. I feel much phone is fully protected and the grip is nice and secure. Definitely recommend!

Doesn’t feel like it’s good slip off it’s a little hard to get the phone in the case but that’s what makes it’s really good because you know the phone is secured. Has the MagSafe so it’ll work with MagSafe chargers and accessories. I have a MagSafe phone mount and it attaches firmly to it and hasn’t fallen out. The only thing I dislike about the case is that where the camera shutter button is in the new iPhones the screen isn’t protected in that corner and with my luck I feel like it’s gonna hit the spot and crack my screen my other case it is protected and haven’t had no issue with using the button.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Reallyyyy like this case! I’ve been using Apple / Third party silicon cases and they are not durable at all, and I’ve chipped my phone from drops. But this case is way stronger but not bulky at all, it actually feels slimmer than my silicon cases. It has a nice grip and the MagSafe is a huge plus. Really happy with this case and I’ll be using OtterBox from now on!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve owned Otter box phone cases on my last 3 iPhones, Otter box makes excellent phone cases although their prices can be a little steep. I’m not a huge fan of their soft cases, I’ve owned one before and had the backside of my iPhone get damaged after a 5 foot drop onto some rocks. Overall I’d say the soft cases are all right for normal daily carry, but if you work as a mechanic or some other job where you’re always dropping your phone on hard surfaces; I would recommend the hard shell cases

Love the feel of the case! Exactly what I wanted! It was pricey but quality was 💯! Worth it!

Wanted a case that would not slide out of my shirt pocket when bending over -- this is it. It's non-skid surface on front, side, and back grips the shirt pocket, the hand, and inclined table surfaces. Its protective rims on display and camera appear to extend slightly farther above the glass than other Symmetry models, which might be evidenced by its slightly more thickness, providing more tolerance to uneven surfaces contacting it. I would have preferred the even taller rim height of prior Commuter series which the newer model no longer has but this one is pretty close. The open slot for camera control makes it easy to find but I find I like the camera control button of the Lumen slightly over this one with the slot but it is non-skid only on front and sides, not the back, so it slides out of the shirt pocket when bending over. Adding a camera control button would make this virtually a perfect match for what I would want.

Case is overall very good and I like the soft feel of it. While I have used the Symmetry Series Soft cases since last year on my 15 pro max, I find this edition to be a bit cumbersome. May just be something I'm personally dealing with but I tend to swap out my cases pretty often for either other styles or no case at all. Recently when I swapped my case off I noticed that the little magnet detached from my case and stayed on my phone. I didn't think anything of it and a few days later I swapped the case out again and all the magnets fell out again. Another issue I have is I tend to find the magnet weaker than in previous cases I've had. My go to case has always been my Defender XT Pro so I might buy that instead.
