Excellent product!!!!
This is my second Otterbox defender. My phones have tumbled down wooden stairs, dropped on concrete, and I have drop-itis. Never a crack or a problem m. Best product ever.

Missing a screen protector
I have relied on Otterbox Defender cases for years. However, I'm really regretting my purchase of the iPhone 12 mini Defender case. It's only 1/2 a case--it's missing a screen protector, which is a must for me for when I put the phone in my pocket or purse. Very disappointing.

After exhaustive design testing, our engineers determined that the best way to interact with the advanced screen of your display was without the addition of a built-in screen protector. That being said, our tests have shown that this case provides the same level of drop protection as past Defender Series cases. Replacing after 1 year
I love the Defender series, and have used them for years including on construction sites. Sadly, the lightning port protection flap has torn away after 1 year of use. I have not previously experienced this problem. Disappointed to have to buy a replacement after only a year. I have used previous Defenders for 6+ years without this problem. The Defender still provides solid protection and holds up to abuse, but it fell short on port protection.

Sorta ruined it
I bought this box because of the fact that it protected the phone so well. They remove the plastic screen cover. Frankly, that’s why I bought it I’ll use it but I’m sort of underwhelmed

Our apologies for any confusion prior to purchase but it is correct that the Defender Series for iPhone 12 mini does not have an integrated screen protector like some versions of the case for other devices. We actually made the switch back in 2017 with the release of the iPhone X in response to many consumers wanting direct access to their device displays, as well as an increased interest in glass screen protectors. If you're looking to potentially another layer to the mix, we do make a number of different screen protectors that can be paired with the case for extra protection. Does not defend the screen
I just got my new otterbox in the mail today, and while I was excited to open it, I was really disappointed to find that it does not come with any screen protection! I’ve bought an OtterBox defender for every other phone I’ve had, because it defends the entire phone. This time I regret not going with a cheaper or more transparent brand that would provide fuller protection or lower cost for this amount of protection.

Solid protection BUT …
Have used OtterBox defender series for years and they are solid protection. Now however we need more attractive colors for women. Enough with the black and dark colors. When you put your phone in your purse, most purse linings are black. So if it is dark You cannot find your phone at bottom of your purse. How about glow in the dark white like rosaries used to be in the 1950s and 60s? Or light colored cases on both sides? Have your women design cases for us and not your men please.

Solid case, but not MagSafe
Great protection without a lot of bulk. I would give it 5 stars, but it isn’t wireless charging compatible as advertised.

Best purchase ever
I have had this case now for a little under a month and it has been the best case I have ever owned. It protects my phone very well considering all of the stuff I put it through. Having kids and working two jobs puts a beating on my phone and now I no longer have to worry about it breaking! I got the purple and pink one and the colors were exactly as advertised.

Always get the defender
I have purchased the Defender for about my last 4 phones. It is very protective. I like the clip and actually use it, I know a lot of people don't. But, I don't carry a purse and do not like putting in my pocket so comes in handy. The case begins to stretch after awhile but by time too stretched, the phone is about done with. The clip broke once or twice, but they gave my another. I have purchase multiple times and will again.

Black Magic
What prompted me to purchase the otter is 1.) I already had one on my other phone. 2.) There is black magic in the protective cases. I ordered the 12pro mini and it is sooooo slick that I dropped it a dozen + times before receiving my otter. Placed it in my otter, here comes the black magic part, and haven't dropped the phone in 6 months. I must tell you, I did drop the phone on purpose as a test. Passed!

Great Protection - One Gripe
A perfect fit for my iPhone 12 Mini, and still fits into the side pockets of my favorite pants! More grip all around than the Commuter, which I also tried. Sticks to the table when laid down front or back! One Gripe: The iPhone "mute" toggle switch, above the volume buttons, is covered with a tab, and the access hole is too small to get to that switch easily. Considering cutting off the tab, but the access is still too small for easy access. One star deduction!

Doesn’t protect your screen
I have had 3 OtterBox defender cases with my last 3 iPhones but now they all the sudden don’t have screen protectors and the screen is the most important part of the phone. I work in construction and have to have a case with a screen protector.
