My phone keeps falling out , it does not hold as well as other phone carriers . The clip is flimsy

I bought a new 17 i phone and bought the otter box within a week one of the corners broke so I bought one of amozon not an otter box but holding up better.

I've used Otterbox for years, but I had to return this one. In the past putting my phone into the Otterbox hip clip resulted in a strong click and I practically never dropped it. This year, the click is much to soft. And because of that, it's either not held on well, or I'm not certain if it's actually clicked into place. This results in my phone dropping more times from the hip clip in the last couple weeks than years I've gone with the previous designs. In addition it sometimes double clicks into a position it's not supposed to be in (the lip that supposed to go into the notch is actually past it). If you're not using the hip clip (they don't include it anymore, you have to request it, but they send it to you for free) then it's very similar to previous years and a solid choice. But for me, I've had to return this one and purchase a competing brand due to the hip clip click.

The snap in feature seems less secure then the past OtterBox holsters I have owned. It is not a definite click when you snap it in.

I have always used OtterBox to protect my iPhones and they have never let me down

The holder is user friendly and even stays securely on my hip when running.

Works great, but takes a day or so to get used too when you are used to a slip in case.

As I have used Defender holsters for years, this 17 does not dissappoint! I even bought a few extra - for the 'just in case!'

Hard to get in and out of my pocket. And the camera button is a big pain getting clicked on all the time. Decided to go with something different.

I'm not trusting it, I have always used a belt holder but this one, I am not sure if it is a defect or not, just doesn't seem the phone in to well, so I am worried that one good nudge and I possibly lose my iPhone

Works great! Not sure I like it not coming with a holster unless you want it. I guess it makes some sense, but having option when you buy might be a better option.

Works as expected. No surprises. Sturdy and functional

Holds phone tightly with no movement. The only downside it does wear down the case over time.
