Cable is basically nice and works as it should. The only reason for three stars is due to the fact that the wire is not very limber. It’s just a bit stiff and doesn’t lay flat when used. Other than that… very good.

Nice cable but too long. 1Ft choice was too short. 18"-24" would have been a better choice but your choices are 1', 3' and 6'

I had a great deal of respect for the Otterbox brand until I ordered 2 charging cords that did not work. I returned them. I thought I could trust Otterbox but, maybe, they're only good for cell phone cases.--Not charging cords.

Definitely looks well built at first glance, but has been losing connection randomly with my phone while it’s on CarPlay which then freezes the whole system up. Usually this happens with garbage cables but I was hoping for better with this one. Ugh.

Thanks for the heads-up on the struggles you've encountered between the OtterBox Lightning to USB-C Fast Charge Cable and Apple CarPlay. Does the cable function correctly when plugged into other sources? There are definitely a lot of variables when it comes to CarPlay, so it might be worth checking out some of the many troubleshooting tips online or even touching base with Apple or your auto manufacturer directly. If your car has multiple USB outlets, connecting to a different one would potentially be worth trying. Kindly, OtterBox Customer Service Team
