This case did not work to protect the phone on a short drop. I did get a replacement, but my phone is cracked. It did not absorb the shock of the fall.

I've owned multiple OtterBox for various phones and this is the only one to disappoint me. It has indeed protected my phone after numerous drops and accidents, which is what keeps me coming back. But the case itself is falling apart in a way no other OB case has for me, which previously have lasted me 2-3 years until I get a new phone. The side buttons have fallen out, the hard plastic has cracked in multiple spots, the rubberized edge is very discolored and broke off around the charging port within 6 months. Just overall doesn't seem as sturdy or long lasting as other OB cases.

I've always purchased Otterbox cases for my phones over the years. However, the last one was a clear case, which I bought to differentiate between my husband's black Otterbox case and my new phone. Within a few months, it has turned yellow, which no amount of cleaning has been able to eradicate. Very disappointing, as I purchased from a pop up store at my local shopping centre. Never thought to keep my receipt - never had to in the past with my other Otterbox cases. Such a shame. Never mind, lesson learned.

I've been using this case for about 6 months. The material along the sides of the case is dingy and discolored despite being cleaned. The back of the case is still clear, but the discolored edging makes my phone look dirty.

Tried for half hour to get this case on evenly to provide the raised edge protection advertised. Impossible to get it seated evenly on the device. I've never had this problem with any other otterbox case.

So sorry to hear you're having some trouble getting your device to sit comfortably in the case. Wonder if you somehow ended up with a case for the S22 Ultra by mistake, as those two devices have pretty similar dimensions? When getting that case onto your phone, we usually recommend you start with one of the upper corners to get the buttons settled in and then slowly work your way around the edges until it fits snug. I bought this protector for new Galaxy S22's for my wife and I. I dropped my phone yesterday for the first time (on the bathroom tile floor) and my screen cracked heavily in the left top corner. I have had phenomenal success in the past with Otterbox protective cases. My prior phone was a Galaxy S9 and the Otterbox protective case kept that phone damage free for over 4 years with countless drops indoors and outdoors; I found it to be nearly bulletproof.

Were you using a screen protector in conjunction with the case? Although we put each of our cases through our rigorous Drop+ Protection testing, the use of such an accessory is never a bad idea.
