OtterBox Symmetry Series Hardshell Case for Apple iPhone 13 Pro - Reset Purple

Been using OtterBox since I can remember. I particularly like the symmetry series as it provides maximum protection in a minimal package. This latest purchase was to replace y 5 year old case. It had been around the world and back and deserved a break. It is perfect!

The MagSafe is not very strong. Was disappointed in this case’s ability to stay attached via the MagSafe connection

Was not clear that this product does not have magnet on back. Does not stick to charger well. Also can’t return!

Garbage case fell apart after a year and did not protect my camera what so ever.

Like the look and it feels sturdy, but I dropped my previously undamaged phone and the entire back shattered in the case.

I’m sure it would have been nice but they sent one for a different type of phone instead of the this one that I ordered.

I bought this case a little over 6 months ago. The rubber rim around the edge of the case is peeling off of the plastic part and is about to fall apart. The rubber piece around the volume buttons are warped out of place as well (see picture).

I love this case! It’s so thin and feels really nicely textured. I got the purple color and it’s very pleasant.

Pursued this case based on the one I have used for past iPhones. This one feels cheap and cut outs for the charger cable is sharp. Makes holding the case uncomfortable. Overall feel of the case is like cheap plastic. I’ve not dropped my phone yet, but fear if I do drop it the iPhone my become damaged. Not what I would expect from Otterbox.

I have own several Otterbox cases. I purchased my current symmetry case almost exactly one year ago with my Iphone 13. My phone has never been outside the case from day one. I do drop my phone often but never from higher than my hands standing on the ground. This case claims to be shock proof up to 3 meters. I pulled the case off for the first time to replace the screen protector and to my surprise, the back of the phone was completely shattered. No a scratch on the case. Obviously the case is not shock proof to 3 meters. There is no other damage to the phone other than what is shown in the picture. No damage to the Otterbox case indicating there was not a hard impact. The only thing this case did was hold the shattered pieces in that literally fell out when I took the case off.

I've used symmetry Otterbox products for 6 years and this has seriously disappointed me. The plastic is so hard and there's no rubber edging any more on the outside of the case. Honestly, this product feels like something from a massive bargain bin at a store, that you go through because you don't care about the protection of your phone you just want it to be pretty. Sadly I will not be a customer of Otterbox anymore Below I've attached a photo of my old phone case EXTREMLY worn out with the new one (Purple). I use to love the quality of these products and the warranty's on them but not any more. You can see there is NO rubber backing on the new case and the new case is such a hard plastic it clicks when you use the buttons, and buckles on the back like its to big or something. I would've used the warranty to replace my old case but I knew I was upgrading my phone. Good bye Otterbox

After dropping it twice the paint started chipping off. Protected my phone though.

Fits my phone perfectly. Lilac is my favorite color. Imyhspoy that it was available.

The case itself is perfect for size and weight. There are only two main issues. The case is very slick so you have to be careful when holding it so it doesn't slip out of your hand. The other issue is the cutout around the charging port is not smooth so it rubs a raw spot in your pinky if you cradle the phone with your pinky finger in the bottom center of the case. This is an issue I have brought up to Otterbox before but has not been addressed.

I have had this case for about two months and it is ok. I have not dropped my iPhone on anything other than carpet and knocked it off an end table on to hardwood flooring. It has done the job thus far but I really want to replace it. The bottom of the case has sharp edges that dig into your fingers when holding the device and there are additional edges around the cameras that dig into your hands. The edges at the bottom of the phone are a real issue. Overall I am not fan of the design. The poor ergonomics are not worth the slim design. They makes the device simply uncomfortable to hold. I have had Otterbox Commuter cases in the past and have been extremely pleased. Not at all pleased with this purchase. I wish I could return it. My advice, skip this and buy a Defender or Commuter case.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This case is okay. Its not great. It definitely seems kinda flimsy for an otterbox. It is nice in the fact that it is thin and makes it easier to carry around in pockets. I have dropped my phone a couple time and it has provided a semblance of protection. I dont like that it doesnt offer much in means of protection for the front of the phone.

I haven’t dropped my 13 pro anywhere other than my carpet, so do what you want with that information. The case can look loose at the areas with buttons and where the charger port is at. However, it doesn’t tend to bother me as much as I thought it would. The buttons are Flickr and satisfying. The cameras and screen are protected by a lip, so you’re safe dropping your phone on a flat surface as far as I’m concerned. However, I do suggest a good screen protector because you may be an unlucky chap and find a pebble.
