Q: So since it has a non removable bulb, then, once the bulb wears out, you NEED to throw it out because a new one can't be installed? Is that correct?

A: Thank you for your inquiry. Not necessarily, the lamp has LED (Light Emitting Diodes) built into it that are not replaceable, however if for some reason the lamp stops working it may just be that the adapter needs to be replaced. All of Ottlite's lamps include a 2 year warranty with copy of receipt or gift receipt within 2 yrs. Best regards, Ottlite Customer Service PH#800/842-8848

Q: Where is the electrical cord? or is this lamp with batteries?

I was searching for an easy to use, dimmable, LED lamp to use on my computer desk, the added benefit of the lamp having a built in pen/pencil\knick-knack holder was icing on the cake for me. I love the style of the lamp, & it's versatile in it's ability to illuminate just what I need, at my selected setting, I also like the fact they provided a reasonably lengthy power supply cord which made connecting the power supply easy to where my outlet was located. Great product, & reasonably priced! I would highly recommend this item to a friend or family member, or even YOU reading this review :)
