submitted byCafeChic - 7 months agoA: It says the State of California because it is the only state out of the 50 states that requires to let consumers know there are cancer causing materials or chemicals in the product. It doesn’t make it less important. It should be legal in all states to disclose this important information. Just because many products say this nowadays doesn’t make it less important. It just means that most of the products that we buy today have cancer, causing chemicals and all of that adds up. This ring is a fad with cool features, but is it worth being exposed on a daily basis?

Q: In all of the videos, I see it on the index finger does anyone own this and wear on the ring finger ? Does wearing it on your ring finger affect the accuracy?
A: I wear mine in the ring finger and it tracks everything perfectly.

Q: Do you get a sizing chart with purchase?
A: I received the sizing before ordering. Once the size was determined I ordered the ring. I love mine it works great! Only need to charge every few days

Q: I got the ring kit and the 9 fits during the day but snug when I get up. 10 fits too but can easily be taken off. I’m just worried about summer time. Do I size up. I have heard that the ring is bigger than the ring kit.
A: Don’t waste your time calling. No one can answer your general questions unless you are calling about a protection plan or extended warranty.

Q: I am purchasing this as a gift for my daughter. If her normal ring size is a 6, what size would you recommend in the Oura 4?
A: My ring size is a 7 but my Oura ring size is a 8 since I wear it on the finger next to my thumb, my index.

submitted byJustin - 1 year agoTarget expert supportA: Not exactly if you are looking for immediate Sp02 levels like an oximeter. I just checked my app and it shows that my oxygen is measured during my sleep only: “Average blood oxygen and breathing regularity are analyzed by looking at your blood oxygen levels with Blood Oxygen Sensing. Blood oxygen measurements are located in the Sleep tab and become available after your next sleep period of more than 3 hours.” I went to the Sleep tab and it shows an Average Oxygen Saturation %, ex. 97%. If you’re looking for direct Sp02 readings, I would rely on an oximeter and not the Oura ring.

Q: Can you keep using it without having to pay for another subscription? Not paying $6 a month to do this when my Apple Watch does it for free. Seems like a waste of money.
A: I got rid of my Apple Watch and switched to Oura (Gen 3) and I’ve had it for 3 years now. Never looked back. It gives me so much info about my heart, how I’m sleeping, and my period cycle which is way more than the Health app through Apple and the Fitbit I tried. I have compared the Apple vs Oura data and Oura has been 100% more reliable. Very helpful since I have dysautonomia and autoimmune diseases that I need to have data readily available. Oura also syncs up with Apple health but provides more info. Anyways, I’m saying the $5.99/mo is worth it. You can also have the free version with less info provided to you.

Q: Can you wear this while snorkeling or diving?
A: YES if you're diving "recreationally". Like off a diving board, a cliff, or just into the ocean or a pool. Any diving that won't submerge you deeper than 330 feet is fine. Scuba diving is a NO.

Yes, you can wear an Oura Ring while snorkeling, but Oura doesn't recommend using it for scuba diving: Water resistance: The Oura Ring is water resistant up to 100 meters (330 feet), so you can wear it while swimming, showering, and snorkeling. Submersion: Oura doesn't recommend keeping the ring submerged for more than 12 hours.
