Q: The size charts on all of these maternity pants are not at all useful. The point of a size chart is to see how a garment is sized based on measurements - NOT just "order your pre-pregnancy size".
These maternity jeans have received mixed reviews. While some guests appreciate the style and fit, many have noted issues with the lack of stretch in the denim, making them uncomfortable for movement. Sizing inconsistencies are also a common concern, with some guests finding them too tight or too loose. Despite these challenges, the jeans are praised for their sturdy material and supportive belly band.

Before pregnancy, I weighed 130 pounds, and at 20 weeks, I’m now around 137. I found that a size 4 fit me well. These jeans are quite flattering and reasonably comfortable, though they are slightly tight in the calves and ankles—but that’s expected with skinny jeans. While they look great, they’re not as cozy as leggings (but let’s be honest, jeans aren’t really designed to be ultra-comfy). One feature I love is the belly band. It’s made of a spandex-like legging material that feels supportive and stretchy. The best part? The jeans don’t slide down, which is a huge plus. My only complaint is that the top of the band digs into my rib cage a bit, which can get uncomfortable after wearing them for a while. Overall, they’re stylish, functional, and a good choice if you’re looking for maternity jeans that don’t sacrifice appearance for practicality. Just don’t expect them to feel like loungewear!

During my first pregnancy these jeans had fake pockets which was very disappointing! When I put on these for my second pregnancy and was able to put my hand it my pockets I was pleasantly surprised! These jeans are very comfortable during pregnancy and after! They did get tight towards the end of my pregnancy though. Not sure if I bought the wrong size to begin with. I would recommend purchasing them.

Don’t buy these. There is some extra space in the crotch area and if you pull them up to make it fit better there, they will dig into your belly. This was tolerable when I was ~16 weeks but now I’m ~28 weeks and I want to set these pants on fire.

They are okay. I've had them since about 18 weeks and wear them to work regularly. They have held up nicely but at this point (32 weeks) I can no longer wear them. The ankles are too tight and there is not much support in the back in fact they give me a back ache anymore when I wear them. I wish they would make a different style Jean besides skinny no pregnant woman wants skinny maternity jeans.

I like where the waist of the jeans sit and where the band begins. These are the only maternity jeans I have that don't fall down and sag needing constant adjustment. They stay in place the entire mile walk to my toddler's school and back. I'll get another pair to make it through winter.

The cross panel in the back is terrible. Makes my back hurt when wearing these jeans. Also had to buy a size larger than I would normally wear. Not my favorite.

These jeans have no stretch and the seam for where the jeans attach to the over the belly band is too high, it cuts right through my belly. Maternity clothing has one job- to be comfortable while retaining some semblance of my dignity. These pants cause me physical pain and the size larger just falls down all day because they’re too big.

I LOVED these. They were the only pregnancy jeans that worked for me. They are sized strange. I’m a size 6 and I had to start with a 0 and work up to a 6, BUT what’s not to love about that when you are pregnant! lol

Sizing makes no sense. Baggy crotch and knees no matter what size while the ankles and legs are the only part that shrinks.

These fit okay in the waist but the calves and ankles were SUPER tight. They could have worked, but if I gain any weight in my legs or ankles, they will no longer fit. Ended up returning.

Stacy Fakename - 5 months ago, Verified purchaser
I was hoping because these had the crossover back panel that they would fit like the leggings which are 5 stars, but NAY! These are reinforced in the belly (too tight) and the seam between jean and belly panel is stitched too snug (no stretch), and finally depite the jean being very comfortable fabric, the leg hole, even sized up 3x, was too skinny for a pregnant leg. If they had real pregnant women try these things and help develop them, maybe they would be a better fit. Definitely regret buying and not being able to return because I wash before I wear. Oh, well.

They weren’t true to size at all. They were very uncomfortable, and ran much smaller than they should have. For the price I paid, I was very disappointed

I have an athletic build (pre-pregnancy big thighs/butt with tiny waist) and these are honestly the best maternity jeans I have found for my body shape. DO SIZE UP. I had to go up 2 sizes from my pre-pregnancy size at 28 weeks pregnant. But they stay up and don’t need adjusted all day long.

Don’t understand the reviews! I love these!! True to size! I am a regular 6-8 and got an 8 since I didn’t find a 6! They fit perfect. Quality is really good! Covers my belly and I have enough room to grow!
Awesome that you can try them on in-store. They are ok - they have a weird poo-like smell of synthetic fibers ( I’ve also noticed this with Gap, even pre-pregnancy) and I don’t understand why the belly band is so low in the back. I’ll be keeping them though, due to a lack of affordable maternity jeans that are available to try on in-store.

This pair of jeans fit me really weird. Too much room in the crotch area I had to return. And way too tight at the ankles they were hard to get on. Wanted to love them but had to return.
