Q: are there any distortions either closer or far?

A: The mirror definitely shows some distortion from far away (more than 6' or so), but at normal viewing distance, it isn't noticeable. Mine was also a little bowed out, but I stuck a little Velcro on the back to hold it flat.

Q: Are the hooks mounted already on the door? I don't want one that requires me to do the hardware...I want one that is ready to just hang

A: The hooks slide onto the back of the mirror, and are adjustable so that the mirror will hang higher or lower, depending on where you want it. But after you slide those in, all you have to do is hang it over the door.
submitted byDebbie - 7 years agoA: The hooks are not attached in the box, you need to attach them yourself. However, they slide right together, there are no tools/screwing/drilling required. The hooks can easily be taken on and off based on where you want to put the mirror

Dislike: the off gassing smells very specifically like poop. Never smelled that on a new product before. Also, flimsy and warped so doesn’t lay flat against the door. Like: I likes the 20% off when I purchased but now that I know I can’t really use it because the poop smell is still there after airing it out in the shed for weeks, it’s worthless to me.

This is a great mirror with a nice frame and hangs on the door but the issue is that it literally smells like feces. The paper on the back has some chemical or glue in it and the smell is so strange. Literally just like feces. I didn’t realize until I threw away the packaging and hung it so I couldn’t return and threw it in the trash. I kept smelling poop and finally figured it out. My door still smells where the backing was touching it.
