It grows mold too fast in the lid and around where the seal part goes down, and it grows mold like at the bottom too so I would not recommend this for your kids

I normally love Owala water bottles and own multiple colors of this exact bottle, but the Misty Meadow bottle was a huge disappointment. The part that covers the mouthpiece is difficult to close and when it does close, it isn't always secure. My bottle was closed and spilled all over my car after tipping over. Additionally, the Misty Meadow doesn't stay cold. My other bottles will stay cold for hours, but this one is room temp after about 2 hours.

Either the wrong color is pictured, or order was fulfilled with wrong color. I couldn’t find this color in store either. Love the bottle, but not the color we got. You should consider boot for this bottle if used for kids or sports. The bottle will dent & can impact insulation. Otherwise, great insulation. Straw detaches sometimes though.

If you use ice, you will have condensation all over the top. When I reached out to the company, they said this was normal. Had a Hydroflask for years and did not have this issue.
