Good water bottle but lid loop lock is plastic and can break off

My kid recently replaced their Simple Modern water bottle flip spout and fixed handle with this Owala 24 oz. Pros: kid like option of sucking through straw or chugging through spout. Kid also like that it doesn’t leek compared to previous simple modern water bottle that eventually leaked through flip spout. Cons: kid carries water bottle using the loop lid lock but kid swings the water bottle that puts a lot of tension on the tiny plastic nubs that connects to the rest of the lid- it broke after day 2 so not as sturdy “handle”compared to previous water bottle. I do foresee several lid replacement purchases. Barely fits into cup holder in back seat arm rest where kid usually sits (it can fit in one of the front seat cup holders and back seat side door pockets) Overall, good water bottle- I cannot attest to longevity of the container itself yet. Previous water bottle lasted at least 2 years with the accumulated dings.
