Made well. It’s been about 3 weeks of taking this and no leaks so far. Love the color combo options. Keeps drinks cold for a very long time. About 20 hours.

Easy to use and keeps water cold
This water bottle is very easy to use. I really like the FreeSip design because I can drink through the built-in straw without tilting the bottle or use the larger opening when I want a faster drink. It keeps my water cold for a long time, the lid closes securely, and the handle makes it convenient to carry. The wide opening also makes it easy to add ice. I use it often and have been very happy with it.

The Hype is Real
I was skeptical of these viral Owala bottles but caved after a trusted friend assured me they were great. And I hate to admit it, but the hype is real. I love the Stanley lineup, but was annoyed that I couldn’t have a straw and sip option with a handle. Fortunately, the Owala provides all of those options! I like the sipping because it’s so easy to drink water that way. I like that I can guzzle or pour water out easily and that it doesn’t leak when I throw it in my bag. It still had ice after spending 48 hours in my car in 90 degree heat. The 20oz fits in my car cup holder, not sure if a larger size would but it’s convenient for on the go during the day. It’s on the pricey end but not more than high cost brands like YETI or Stanley and the versatility make it worth it. Highly recommend!

Perfect for high schoolers to bring their water
Granddaughter loves this. I chose this color way since it is called Sandy Shores. She loves the beach and I thought this was right up her alley. She has used it everyday bringing her water to school.

My son has been using it for school and it fell off his back pack and the bottom is already bent and also the broke. My daughter has just the same but different color she has dropped it many times and it has never bent like the way my sons did. For being pricy it’s not worth it.

Missing gasket
My water bottle is missing the gasket that makes it watertight. Without the gasket, it leaks everywhere.

Missing straw
Bought this in store and when I went home I started washing it and realized there was no straw. So I recommend looking inside before you make your purchase. Super frustrated.

Owala Worst Customer Service!
Absolutely the worst Owala I have ever owned! it scratches soooo easily. I had deep nicks down to the metal the first 2 weeks! I contacted customer support on their site. I was told they wouldn't replace it because it's not covered under warranty!! Mind you, I never took it out of the house or dropped it. I have been an Owala customer for 5 years! might have to find a different brand!

Defective?
I bought this one on sale at Target and I’m starting to see why. It’s the only Owala I’ve ever had where the straw is constantly coming detached from the lid. It’s very frustrating.

Good, but better with more steel
I really like this! It’s easy to hand wash. It’s easy to carry. I like that it locks. I do wish the straw and lid were stainless steel.
