A: That is a great question. The FreeSip Twist bottle can be used with hot water. Use caution while using this bottle with hot liquids. Bought it for my kids school and yeah not a good cup. The lid holds water which will probably cause mold in the future. Not a good design at all.

Rusting after less than 3 weeks of use at the top of the bottle. The rust transferred onto the cap and it can't be washed away. This is super disappointing since I really liked my previous owala bottle.

I would not recommend this product. I bought it and within the first day of use I went to pick it up, the strap has a part that screws into the lid well I guess not well enough it popped off and dropped to the ground didn’t think it was a big deal but the cap is completely broken. Now this bottle is completely unusable and they do not offer a replacement lid for this model. The biggest waste of the $30 bucks do not buy this cheaply made bottle.

I love Owalas. They’re all I will buy. However I barely dropped this bottle and it’s dented and the finish is peeling. I’ve had it for a week! I drop my other Owalas frequently, even on concrete in the parking lot at work and none have peeled finish. I’d return this if I could and get the standard 24 oz free sip bottle!
