Cheap, not like the old one
Cheap, not like the old one. I went through two versions of the older one and I loved both of them. By comparison, this one is cheap. The plastic feels like it could crack any day and the wire doesn't feel very strong. The depth is also not as good as the previous one. I am so disappointed because this was truly one of my favorite kitchen utensils for many many years. I would have been willing to pay an extra dollar too if they would’ve just made it like they used to.

What a bummer!
I just ordered this product and although it’s labeled the same on the product itself, it looks somewhat different from what’s advertised in the pictures. In the pictures it’s advertised that the mesh bowl is deeper, but the one I received has a much shallower bowl. Also the plastic frame and the handle look slightly different too. I think they redesigned it and these pictures are outdated. I was so glad that I finally found a strainer with a deep mesh bowl. But once it arrived, I was disappointed to find that it’s shallower than the pictures. What a bummer!
