But I see that plastic handle in to the pot when heating process. How it could be still healthy if that plastic comes to the pot with hot steam.

A: I easily remove the handle by unscrewing a few turns so it’s not present while cooking. I reattach it when cooking/steaming is finished to lift it from the pot.

Cool gadget
This sis is easy for cooking and cleanup. I use this for a lot of my hungry roots meals. Easy to store in the cabinet. I just use for pasta or veggies keeps the crunch and again easy clean up. Steaming veggies keeps the crunch and makes them enjoyable. Very durable. Basket like hold.

Great basket
This thing is awesome! I used to use a steamer insert made for one particular pot but I could never match the insert to the pot. Now I can put this in any pot and speed steam anything! This is built so well and I know the quality in incredible.

Works great, holds a good amount and easy to store. I did forget that it would get hot and touched it with my bare fingers. That hurt for a few. But my broccoli was not affected by my mishap

Believe the other reviews... this thing is SHARP
I just unboxed and washed this stainer and it the outside edge cut my wrist it’s so sharp. You have to wear rubber gloves with this thing when you wash it if you don’t want to break skin. Clearly a poor design and was not tested prior to mass producing them because it is not a user friendly design

Great for home defense
As a steamer basket, it works as you would expect. However, while cleaning after the first use, I sliced my finger open on a sharp metal edge and bled for about 15 minutes. Upon further inspection, I noticed that this thing is all razor sharp edges. I will be extremely careful when using in the future. I will also be purchasing 2 more to use as self defense tools in the event of a home invasion. These will instantly transform you into a Freddy Kreuger like being, capable of taking down any threats.

Be careful – sharp edges!
This does the job and fits in a variety of pot shapes and sizes. But my husband and I BOTH cut ourselves on this thing in the process of washing it. There is no reason for it to have any sharp edges.
