It's ok, good for definition and bold lashes, water resistan
It's great for lash definition with my thin and sparse lashes however I truly prefer the other waterproof mascara and mascara wand and am disappointed that it continues to be out of stock.

Please bring back Aquarian gaze!!!! This mascara is horrid and the twisted brush make it impossible to coat lashes and make a mess. So bad!

Hard to apply, brush is bad, hard to put it on evenly. Got the hang of it, but it's not exactly buildable. It's not enough and then too much. I cried and it all came off in chunks and smears.

I loved Aquarian Glaze and used it for years. I've switched to another brand since you don't offer a comparable mascara that works for me.

Smudges!
This mascara does a great job staying on your skin, but horrendous job staying on your eyelashes. I can appreciate that it does not dry up and crumble all over your face, but it is not at all waterproof. The slightest bit of moisture and it transfers to the skin around your eyes and then is difficult to remove from the skin without make-up remover.

love you Pacifica but this mascara is horrid compared to Aquarian gaze, pLeASe bring that one back! nothing compares! this one's tube is nice, but the rest is impossible :(

Clumpy Mess
Bought this as a replacement for the Aquarian Gaze and it's awful! The odd brush shape makes it hard to coat my fine lashes, texture is bad, the clumping is ridiculous. Please bring Aquarian Gaze back

Not water resistant at all... until its on your skin.
Definitely not water resistant… until it’s off of your eyelashes and ON your eyelids. YIKES! What a nightmare trying to remove it! So bummed! I wanted to order my usual, Pacifica Activist Volume & Curl, but it didn’t show up when I searched it this time so ordered this instead thinking it would be good at the pool. Bummed that I wasted $16 on this instead of trying to find the other!

I love Pacifica's Aquarian Gaze mascara and have been using it for years. Tried Surf Lash and it is awful. Not waterproof, smears badly. Brush applies way too much . Have to wipe most off the brush with a Kleenex before attempting to apply. Please bring back Aquarian Gaze!!

Skunk eyes!
Been an avid user of their waterproof mascara for years but they stopped making it. Tried this for 1 time and the wand is a terrible design (barely get product on your lashes) and had black undereyes after being in the sun for a bit. Absolutely horrible

It's true, the wand is ridiculous.
Now I remember why I chose a different variety over this one last time - the reviews. Unfortunately I didn't re-read them before adding to cart this time. The mascara itself might be wonderful, but we'll never know. It's too difficult to apply with an applicator brush shaped like a spiral staircase. How is it even supposed to work?! I don't get it. And the tube is huge, so I can't just switch out the brush from an old tube. Hopefully they revamp this one ASAP. For now, highly recommend skipping it. For what it's worth, it did last all day (working my desk job) and remove easily. I do love this brand and use several products including other mascaras. This one was a miss, but I already ordered another.

Clumpy and Flakey
Was excited about this because I have to buy the volume mascara and the waterproof mascara separately and this was both in one. However it goes on clumpy and flakes throughout the day. If they can perfect this it will be awesome! But it’s horrible right now

Brush shape sucks
The shape of the brush makes it difficult to apply. I wouldn't buy this again unless they change the brush. Otherwise I like it, it's a bit clumpy but I think a better brush would help with that. Love the glass tube.

Not good
I like the collagen mascara by Pacifica, so I thought I would try this. The applicator brush is strange and doesn’t coat your lashes evenly. The worst part is when it gets wet, it doesn’t stay on lashes just smudges under eyes and it’s extremely difficult to get off.

Not resistance to tears
I bought this mascara a little over a month ago. I had been using the Aquarian Gaze & decided to give this a try partly because of the glass container. This mascara does NOT stay put through tears. I've cried quite a few recently and it has caused my eyes irritation & smudges easily.
