You changed the product and made it more expensive for it to be not as good as the OG. Would give no stars if I could.

The other formula was much better. The old was excellent for brightness, the way it dried down, the staying power. This new stuff is a weird texture and leaves a heck of a crease on the eyelid so I have to blot that or it'll never go away because it just doesn't dry.

I have been using this product for years and since they have changed the formula my eyeshadow now creases regardless of what I do. After a few hours my eyelids become sticky and my eyeliner makes smudges on my lids. I absolutely HATE the new formula! So sad it was changed.

When I first used this product my eyeshadow still creased regardless of how much I put on. I changed up my method and starting setting the primer with powder before applying my eyeshadow, works amazing now. Doesn’t crease, (and if it does it is very minimal and after several hours of wear) there is a good amount of product in the tube, and doesn’t bother my eyes or skin. I tend to apply a small dot to my eyelid and then blend it out with my finger rather than using the applicator to paint it over my lids, and it lasts a long time that way. Though I have to say, I am starting to prefer using the liquid rootless putty primer as an eyelid primer instead, I apply it the exact same way and it works just as well and is also has a greater value for the money. But whatever works for you! 🫶

It doesn’t work! Eyeshadow creased within hours. The milani one is much better

This product works very well to hold my shadow in place and the primer helps the color stick out better. It’s definitely a silky texture.

I liked the old primer due to slight color. I’m not a fan of this new primer. Feeling so sad.

I was really hoping to like this eye primer. It didn’t spread smoothly and when dry, became flaky. My guess it is not made for mature skin. This will not be a repurchase for me.

This primer worked fairly well for me and I would have given it 4 or 5 stars, but the tube seems almost empty. Perhaps it was old and dried out or maybe even used, but it is very disappointing.

I have used their old formula that is a tad lighter weight, but this is both a good product and a good price.

I've used this eyeshadow primer off and on for a while. The first time I used it, I wanted to peel my eyelids off from the sensory nightmare it gave me. I tried it again for the sake of not throwing away a product after one use. After the second time, it actually worked really well. It kept my eye makeup on extremely well, even through sweat, and I continued to use it for that fact. However, shortly after using it regularly, I started having eczema flare-ups. I had horrible rashes on my eyelids and sometimes swelling. I didn't use makeup at all for months so I wouldn't get a flare up. Today, I tried my old hydrating primer for my eyes again and... Nothing. No discomfort. No rash at the end of the day. Hardly an itch. I threw away my eyeshadow primer today and it's the first and only product I've tossed. It's amazing how well it works to keep the eyeshadow on my lids, but it's not worth using a product that clearly is not made for dry and sensitive skin. If your eyelids are not very sensitive, use it. If they are, don't bother with this and try something more hydrating.

I have been using this primer since it launched. And ordered a third tube recently. I am suprised to read some of the reviews.This is actually my favorite and only eyeprimer I currently use. I use only a small amount on eyelid and let it set for a few seconds and it's really makes a huge difference for making any eyeshadow go on smoothly and last longer without creasing. I also use with the shimmer toppers. It holds up even in heat and humidity. I love this primer!

This is a great eyeshadow primer. Works great and very affordable! Makes my eyeshadow last all day!

Does not prevent eye makeup from creasing. Very thin/watery. And the applicator can’t get much out of the tube. Much happier with the Milani primer I just bought.

Super disappointed with new version of this product...I won't repurchase. Please bring back the OG!

I used to use elf's Shadow Lock Eyelid Primer & it worked alright, but when I ran out, I didn't repurchase. Since then, I've been going without primer & my eyeshadow has always disappeared into the crease of my eyelid within a couple hours. I used this today & it has held up for over 10 hours so far...I love this thing!
