[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had the pleasure of trying out the Elf Power Grip Matte Primer and Halo Glow Pressed Powder Filter. I didn't use any foundation or other products at this time. You can see the dark spots on my hand slowly fading as I added both products. The Elf Power Grip Matte Primer does exactly what it is intended to do. I love the matte finish as it leaves my skin looking less shiny. Setting time is only 30 seconds so it doesn’t take very long to dry before being able to move on to next steps. There is hardly any scent at all. The texture is a little sticky at first but sets up pretty well. You want it a little tacky to grip your makeup which is exactly what this primer does. 10/10 recommend and will be adding this to my routine!

It kept my makeup in place all day and didn’t crease on me which is a normal problem I have with makeup. The packaging is super sleek and easy to use. It also doesn’t have much of a scent which is a huge plus to me.

Then it’s kind of gooey all over my finger. But they did do the primer right just the applicator could be better. No scent that bothered me. At all.
