Tattoo Cover Up with Infallible in 5 Simple Steps
Step 1. Prime Your Tattoo
Before moving on to the concealing portion of hiding your tattoo, it’s important to prep the area for makeup application with a makeup primer. Primer creates a smooth base so the rest of your makeup can apply seamlessly, and it extends the wear time. Apply an even layer of the L’Oréal Paris Prime Lab Up to 24H Matte Setter to your tattoo and the surrounding area. If you’re using a color-correcting primer like L’Oréal Paris Prime Lab Up to 24H Dullness Reducer, use that in place of a mattifying primer.
Step 2. Use a Color Corrector
Next, take your orange color-correcting concealer and apply a generous layer to conceal your tattoo. Blend it out with a damp makeup sponge.
Step 3. Apply Foundation and Blend with a Makeup Sponge
Use your finger to dab the foundation onto the color-corrected area of skin, then, use a makeup sponge to create an even, seamless tattoo cover up makeup waterproof blend. Remember to blend outwards so the concealed area matches the rest of your skin.
Step 4. Follow Up With Concealer
Next, build up the coverage with tattoo concealer and blend with your makeup sponge. Be sure to use a shade that most closely matches your skin tone for a seamless look.
Step 5. Set With Powder and Setting Spray
We’re betting that you want your tattoos to stay covered until you’re ready to wash your makeup off, which means it’s a good idea to set everything with a face powder and setting spray. Thought this was going to be an amazing setting spray for a hot day in June… my makeup ended up peeling off after a few hours of sweating (bus trip to a baseball game + a tailgate beforehand). I was embarrassed when I put my sunglasses on and took them off and half of my make up came with them. It sets on your face like hairspray (I’d actually rather use hairspray than this stuff), has a strong odor and if you have any peach fuzz on your face, forget it. That stuff will make every piece stand out and then some. I was really hoping to love this stuff, but it definitely gets a 1/10 for me. Maybe on a “normal” day it would be great, but it didn’t live up to its sweat-proof stance. Save your money and go with something else.

This is THE setting spray. This kept my makeup in place and looking phenomenal after a seven hour day at Universal Studios in 90 degree weather. It does smell like hair spray, and if you get it in your hair ur cooked. But honestly who cares? Also I use this as my last setting spray so it keeps me looking dewy while keeping everything in place.

If I could give this product zero stars I would! First, the spray application is frustrating, because if you get it in your hair it’ll be like brushing out hairspray. I’ve never had my makeup stick to a blanket before as I was lounging at home. Also, I’m a dental assistant who has to wear masks I have never had the situation where I had lines of missing makeup. I almost for got to mention I’m using the Infallible foundation. Just really bad. I prefer Charlotte Tilbury or even just the E.L.F setting spray.

This insanely feels like hairspray directly to the face! That part was displeasing since it burns the eyes for several seconds after. Didn't notice the 36 hour longevity either after only 8 hours makeup was fading. The only best part for me was the desired finish. Does not leave spots of product and skin looks radiant after.

This thing is no joke! Humid Texas weather was no match for this setting spray. It held my make up and I have oily skin. Also doesn’t help that I swear a lot but this sure did its job on my makeup not moving around.

I've only tried this spray once but my first impression wasn't good. The spray is aggressive and heavily scented. I did like that it dried quickly on the face, but the other two issues are enough that I won't use this spray again not would I recommend it.

Greatest setting spray of my life! I was skeptical at first because it feels like you’re hair spraying your face. But listen, I used to have make up creasing under my eyes and sliding off my face around my t zone and felt like I was constantly applying powder to try to keep up. Urban decay all nighter? Nope. THIS. My make up literally lasts all day looking perfect and adding this product is the only thing I did differently. It’s not a fluke my make up has been acting perfect a week straight.
