I have repurchased this primer multiple times but the last time I purchased this the formula felt different and more greasy than usual and within a week the product had separated and had a weird smell and texture

I love elf. I buy everything elf bc of the consistent quality and their ethics. I have combination skin at 38. Oily, dry and acneic skin. This primer feels amazing and I wish it did work in my skin but it keeps my makeup completely separated over time and rubs off very easily. I use elf’s Prime and Stay finishing powder at the base for my skin only. No foundation and their blushes. Primer wise, I use the liquid pore less putty and it’s AMAZINGGGGG. Sometimes products just aren’t for your skin type but I’m glad I found products within this line that do.

I've tried them all, and I keep coming back to this primer. I agree with another customer when she says it compares to DHC primer. It makes your skin feel amazing, leaves a soft plump focused effect and I've used it by its self for years. I hope Elf never stops making this product, and confused as to why they took it off the shelves on stores. I like to follow with the coconut setting spray as a final step for one more application of hydration. I recommend this product all the time!

It feels go velvety when applied on skin. It’s not sticky and makes my makeup look so good.

Made my face breakout in 8 hrs. I put it on in the morning with nothing else on my face. Horrible. Returning. I've been wearing makeup for 26 years and I've never had this happen.

I have used this primer for years, and absolutely love the way it makes my skin feel so silky smooth. It really reminds me of DHC primer. I only use it alone, or with the bronzing drops when I simply want a soft effect on my face on the no makeup look days.

I have tried out several primers and struggle with both oily and dry skin. This is the only primer that I’ve found to work!

I bought this and loved primer itself until the pump broke. Now I'm scooping it out with a qtip so I don't waste it. Seems like a lot of plastic packaging that doesn't work well.

This toner has a greasy texture when you put it on. But, I find it moisturizing on my face and love it.

I’ve learned that this product is mostly for dry skin. It doesn’t dry out your skin and it feels very smooth on your face if you have dry skin. If you don’t have dry skin, it might have a bit weird of a texture and might not work for you!

Feels greasy on my skin and doesn't compare to the power grip primer.

This primer goes on easily but retains a slippery surface for quite a while. I wait to apply concealer over it. I think that the slipperiness causes makeup to "slip." I find my concealer seems to last only an hour or so. Would not buy again.

do NOT use this. this primer is horrible, not only is the consistency greasy and thick, it feels horrible on the skin. makeup slips right off of it. that’s not my main complaint tho, i wore this primer for about 8 hours to a concert, woke up the next morning COVERED in white heads all over my forehead, cheeks, chin and nose. i spent about an hour popping them all. DO NOT BUY.

This product is an ok primer but it has the weirdest texture ever. It’s like liquid chalk if that makes sense? It’s weird and I don’t know how to feel about it.
