Pact Women's Organic Cotton Fit & Flare Midi Dress Regular

I am 5'3" and this was way too long on me...pockets were near my thighs and waist line was at my hips. Please make a petite version!

I so wanted to love this dress for its built-in bra, pockets, lovely fabric and color, and modest length. But none of these elements worked with my body type. I'm 5'6", 128# and 34C, with an athletic/slim build. The small fit me perfectly around the bodice area (although I wear a M/L in PACT bras) but the thin fabric showed my nipples. Okay, I though, I can live with that. But then I noticed the skirt of the dress was both very wide relative to my hips and much longer than would be functional unless I wore high heels with the dress. In spite of liking the color and fabric, I just couldn't figure out where I would wear a dress this long, with so much extra material around my hips, that also showed my nipples, and I'm not messing with wearing a cardigan or trying to find some bra that works with it. Sadly, I am returning this dress. Thicker material up top for the shelf bra (I don't mind showing a little nip), a waist that lays more naturally, and a shorter length would make this work better for someone like me with a trim hour-glass shape who is under 5'8."

This dress literally just arrived an hour ago and I'm so happy with it. I tried it on to see if it fit and it was so comfy I didn't want to take it off. I was on the website looking at buying another and I figured that if I loved it that much I should probably write a review.

This dress is adorable and the most comfortable dress I own. I have received tons of compliments for it. The "usual" size for me fit pretty well (S - I'm 5'4"/163 cm, probably somewhere around 115-125 lbs/52-54 kg), and I feel like I could have gotten away with a size down, but a size up would have probably looked a little baggy/frumpy. The built-in bra does enough for me (32B), but I think ladies on the bustier side might want to have some additional support if they plan to wear it while being semi-active. I've only worn it once, so I can't comment with certainty on longevity, but it does feel like it's built to last.

Loved the style of this dress and the pockets...as long as your hands were always in the pockets. Because of the thickness of the fabric, the empty pockets added bulk to my hips. I have a straight 6', 143-pound figure, but I looked "hippy" in this dress. The length was also unflattering on me, but maybe it's because I'm so tall._x000D_ Unfortunately, I'll have to return it.

Soft, substantial fabric. Fits and looks well for most part, built in bra provides decent support (B/C cup). My only complaint is the pockets really emphasize my hips, and I wish they were a bit more flat ( for this reason I’d rate it 4.5 stars if I could). I still love it and will wear it often. I ordered the Mango in Large. I am 5.6 tall, weigh 185 pounds, usually I wear a size 12, 31 in Jeans and 38C in Bras. I ordered this dress in a Large and it fits tight in the top and then flares out to the bottom which is very flattering. The dress has a build in bra so you don't need to wear a bra with it. Which I think this is why it is a bit tighter on the top to give a little support!. If you have a large breast and a curvy body type like me I would order a size up though otherwise it will be too tight for you in the top. I got away with my regular size but I think if I had a bigger chest it would have been too small or tight. _x000D_ _x000D_ I will update this review after I washed it a couple of times. It seems to be good quality though.

I'm 5'10", long torso, 36DD, and this dress is the bomb,. I bought the large and it fits perfectly, shows off my waist, is extremely flattering and comfortable. I want this in red! I want this in celadon! I want this in white! I have a lot of dresses but this is the new go to....

I’m barely 5’5” and bought a small. As a reviewer mentioned before; the shelf bra is actually a bit revealing. Pretty much the top part is snug and not the most forgiving. But, really what is making me fight this dress is the way it makes my torso look long and my legs shorter... the waist doesn’t seem to hit me at the right spot. The pockets bell out weird and make it seem like I’m a different person. My hips are not that wide! I recently bought a sewing machine, so it’s gonna just be added to things I would like to fix myself... I’m sure if I shortened it; it could almost be almost perfect. I will probably deconstruct the shelf bra and just wear a bra if my own, as well.

I can't say enough good things about this dress. The built in bra is AMAZING. I'm a 38C, bought the Large, and it was perfection.

I think the dress is beautiful, but I do still have to wear a strapless bra with it if I don't want to be squished flat. That disappointed me because not wearing a bra was kind of the whole point of buying the dress. It also shrunk a lot in the wash, so I'll just save it for when I lose ten pounds or so, if that ever happens.

Bought two a few weeks ago for a trip. Can wear all day, every day. Dresses up or down. Simple and comfortable. Also love the sustainable mindset and manufacturing used by the company.

I bought the elderberry color- it’s really pretty. Soft & swishy, tight up top and loose at the hips- a really nice combination. Has a shelf bra but I’m also able to fit my strapless bra in as well for when I want to be a little more modest (ya know, in a chilly breeze...). I’m 5’3, about 120, 32c. Xs is perfect

This dress did not work for my body type. I have broad shoulders, thick torso, and wear a 42 D bra, generally a size 16. My first complaint is that nipples were clearly visible through the dress. The bra was not substantial enough to support and provide adequate coverage and nipple concealment. The fit through the chest was very snug and coverage was lacking; I was uncomfortable with the considerable amount of flesh visible from armpit to shoulder. If you have a burly build this may not be the dress for you. I think this could work great for slender, small busted figures or pear shapes that are narrow through shoulders and chest and wider in the hips. I did love the fabric, the pockets, and the length is great, but will have to return this item due to fit issues.

The cut of this dress is super flattering and the feel is soft yet supportive. I’ve actually bought 2 of these dresses. This recent purchase was the mango color and let me warn you, it’s not mango in person. When I opened it I was shocked the color is orange neon cheeto color. It’s horrible and I’m going to try and dye it a brown because it’s crazy looking and not yellow at all like the pictures.

I bought this dress in black. Almost perfect but I had to cut out the shelf because it was uncomfortable & unflattering. Then it was great. My suggestion to Pact- just double front fabric to the waist. If you do I’ll buy another or 2

I had been eyeing this dress for months but when I spotted the navy palm print, I grabbed it for summer here on the beach in NC. Fits true to size, super flattering, great length. I love the pockets. The built in bra supports even my D boobs. Just a wonderful dress!

I had high hopes for this dress, and it was very comfy to wear, but sadly too long for me (down to my ankles) and the shelf bra did not offer enough support for my post-nursing breasts. I'm 5'3", 38DD.

I bought 3 dresses, black, orange, and white with pin strips. _x000D_ I am 65, 5' 2", and weigh 220 lbs. I bought all in XL. Nothing looks good these days. The black looks the best. The white pinstripe is cute and I got random compliments on it. The orange was a washout-out color and I sent it back. They fit. They are comfortable, well made, and wash nicely. My only complaint is you can't adjust the straps. I am short. The straps need to be shortened. I'll probably cut them and shorten them to 'pull me up' a bit. I don't know why when they make a larger size, they assume you grew taller too! I need to lose 70 lbs, do until I do, I will wear my dresses. I only gave it 4 stars because of the orange color and the longer straps. I took photos but there is no option to post them so you would see my short, overweight body in the dress.
