The glass/clear white crystals you are seeing are likely the absorbent gelling material (AGM) which is the material inside the diaper that absorbs wetness and helps keep your baby dry. When added to our diapers it's dry and granular but forms a gel as it absorbs liquid. I want to assure you this material has a long history of safe use in a variety of products and has been in Pampers for many years.
