PANTENE PRO-V Volume & Body 2in1 Shampoo + Conditioner, 17.9oz/530mL

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've always been a big fan of Pantene products. They are of good quality but reasonably priced and I love the signature scent. That being said, I was skeptical about this very product, because how can a shampoo be volumizing but be 2-in-1 with conditioner? That's contradictory! My hair can be dry but gets oily very fast so I shampoo and only use conditioner when I have long (enough) hair. Still, I gave this product a go and I am not disappointed. It delivers what it promises. I don't know how, but my hair is both voluminous AND hydrated from the get go. It is so wild, but I am definitely not complaining. I love the scent as usual and even the packaging is very nice. It's sturdy but lightweight and easy to squeeze the product out of. I appreciate that the lid is flat for when the product is low. Pantene never misses and can consider me a loyal fan.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] To be honest this is nothing more than shampoo and in my opinion not a great one. I mean it does it’s job….for less than 24 hours. I wash my hair and by the next day it is greasy. I mean sure it’s soft after I get out of the shower but at the price of having to wash my hair everyday. Also it claims to help with volume but it does nothing special. If anything I think it weighs my hair down a bit and makes it stick to my scalp more. I also have issues with needing more volume and this is not the solutions. Overall I was just unimpressed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review. 2-in-1’s have always been a great idea for efficiency but in practice, they have always fallen below the bar. Unfortunately, the Pantene Pro-V 2-in-1 for volume is no different even if better than other 2-in-1’s. The shampoo is great at removing oil but the result is that your hair is dried out even though the conditioner in the product is supposed to alleviate this issue. But the reason why Pantene’s 2-in-1 is 3 stars instead of 1 in my eyes, is that it does not dry out my hair as much as other 2-in-1’s have. As for the volumizing aspect, there is a slight lift initially but that quickly goes away within the hour. So I would recommend using this in combination with other styling products to achieve longer lasting volume. Would I recommend this as a daily product? Probably not. But it would do the trick if you’re traveling and need to pack less.

Usually, I need to use a separate conditioner with products like these but with this I didn’t have to. I definitely recommend this for those days when you need to save some time.

This was a better version for sure although I won’t be switching my normal products anytime soon. This would be great for travel or a gym bag if you wanted to cut down on the amount of products you were lugging around.

The scent is light, botanical, slightly sweet, almost floral and feels very high end! In my experience, most 2-in-1 shampoo and conditioner products leave my fine hair feeling weighted down and I was surprised to find that this one did not! My hair looks fuller and has more movement throughout the day. I deducted one star because I need to supplement with a weekly deep conditioning treatment as we’re transitioning into winter but overall I would recommend this Pantene 2-in-1 for fine hair.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i liked this shampoo but didn't love it. i tend to have oilier hair so I usually skip the conditioner step or only apply it to the ends of my hair but since this is a 2 in 1 and also a shampoo, I had to use it on my entire head. it definitely felt moisturizing after rinsing and I can feel the difference if it was just shampoo but I didn't get much of the volume aspect.

I’m personally not the biggest fan of combo shampoo + conditioner because i have such fine-thin hair that too much conditioning can weigh it down or make my hair look oily… this product didnt do that! I totally feel with more uses and styling my hair after washing I’ll continue to see a voluminous look to my hair

I figured this would be like every other 2 in 1 shampoo/conditioner and would make my hair feel dry. First time ever trying, my hair didn’t have the dryness feeling. I guess because it was something new to my hair. After using it a couple of times, it now has the dryness feel. However it does make my fuller. I would definitely buy this again just to have in an emergency or when I’m in a rush, since I don’t have to shampoo and then condition.

I have yet to find one that gives me volume, eliminates my dandruff, and doesnt make my hair oily after two days. I do keep using it because it makes my hair really soft, and it does give it volume, and i find that i can go about 3 days without washing my hair and smells really good. However, my main concern is the disgusting white flakeson my scalp, and i still have them. I will keep using it as i havent found anything that addresses all of my concerns

It lathers like a traditional shampoo and smells floral and perfume-y. It’s not as good as a conditioner at detangling but I think that’s the case for most 2-in-1s. I’m actually very satisfied with the body it gives my hair, more body and volume than the usual shampoo and conditioner I use.

After testing it out, it does not leave my hair dry, oily, or over processed. This is a cleaner version than most 2-in-1. It does give me some volume and as it says it’s good for 72hrs…3 days. My hair is washed every 3 days so this is perfect. I switch it every other week with my natural hair care products (shampoo,condt,etc). I highly recommend this product as it is not so damaging as others. I know from personal experience my hair is usually greasy by day 2, but with this it was as said, the third day I experienced that which is perfect with my hair wash schedule. Try it out!

This might be nice for someone with short hair who maybe doesn’t use conditioner frequently but my hair is very long and most of my hair has been color treated so it needs a lot of moisturizing. The smell is nice, I’ll continue to use but with an extra conditioner.
