Paper Mate InkJoy 6pk Gel Pens Multicolored Bright: 0.7mm Point, Art & Stationery, Office Supplies, Papermate Pens

I had high hopes for these pens. I just got some new cool, black Post-Its that I was excited to use them on and they didn’t work AT ALL. Skipping and scratchy and two of the colors didn’t ever work on any paper at all. Quickly returned and got the regular gel pens (not meant for dark paper) and they’re great.

I purchased these for color coding in my bullet journal. I finally had the opportunity to use them today. There is the small wax ball on the tip which I removed. It took FOREVER for the lilac pen to work and when it does work, it skips. Unfortunately I cannot add videos but i grabbed a screenshot of the skipping

I specifically got these for the white pen and it doesn't work after 5 minutes of use. It's a shame because the other colors seem to work okay after a couple of times.

Terrible. Inconsistent ink. I wish I never bought these. Save your money.

I initially bought this because of the white ink pen. I read a lot of books with black pages and I annotate frequently. The white pen works correctly for the first hour, but then when you try to write with it, all the white ink fades and you basically just wrote for nothing. All the other colors write beautifully though

Frustrated! I bought them for journaling and every single one was like others reported -“scratchy, spotty, and skips” and some colors were not “bright” just regular. I won’t but them again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These gel pens work great! The colors are rich, creamy, and opaque. The ink dries fast enough that it doesn’t smear even though I’m left handed. They’re good quality.

These pens don't write very well. 2 of the 5 (green and white) don't work on any type of paper....it scratches and skips as you write, so bad that you can't read the writing. The blue and yellow pen ONLY work on a journal I have...not on sticky notes or books. The only color that isn't a problem is the pink/coral color. I feel like I wasted my money.

They're comfortable to write with and you get a lot in the pack but there's a couple colors that you can't see when you write with them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a self-proclaimed pen enthusiast, I was thrilled to receive the Paper Mate InkJoy Gel Pens in this Influenster campaign. I'm a big fan of the InkJoy line and have always appreciated their smooth writing experience. However, this particular set left me incredibly disappointed. Right out of the package, I noticed the pens barely wrote. I had to scribble and "scratch" on paper for what felt like an eternity just to get the ink flowing. Even after this lengthy priming process, the pens still didn't deliver the smooth, glide-like writing I've come to expect from InkJoy. Instead, they felt scratchy and inconsistent. I'm truly hoping I just received a defective pack because the InkJoy pens I've used in the past have been fantastic. It's disheartening to experience such a stark difference in quality. I'm not sure if this is a widespread issue or just a fluke, but I'm definitely hesitant to purchase this particular set again.

When first using the pens the ink didn’t have a flow but once the pen was used it flowed. The pens had a thicker bottom so if you have smaller hands it might not be as comfortable write with. Overall, I enjoy using the pens and will definitely seek out this brand again.😊
