Awful! The pens won’t write!! I’m so frustrated and wish I hadn’t wasted my money!

These are really nice pens while they work. 5 out of the 10 pens quit working after 2 months. They are still full of ink, but they no longer work.

AWFULLLL doesn’t even begin to describe these! Almost every single pen feels like it’s scratching into the paper and the ink doesn’t even flow out of the pen. I’ve tried everything to get these to work properly to no avail, super bummed and annoyed because I don’t have the packaging anymore to return these.

The colors are pretty, when they work. Otherwise the pen skips and doesn’t feel like a regular ink joy pen. Disappointed is an understatement. I bought these about 2 1/2 weeks ago, probably half of them don’t work anymore.

Terrible for writing! So disappointed.

I have many Ink Joy pens and they usually write so well, however these(brights) are just ok. Some of them write ok and some skip.

They die before you run out of ink and half of them don’t work in the pack. I’ve gotten them a few times and none of the packs were good.

I enjoy the colors but the pens don’t write smooth.

They're comfortable to write with and you get a lot in the pack but there's a couple colors that you can't see when you write with them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a self-proclaimed pen enthusiast, I was thrilled to receive the Paper Mate InkJoy Gel Pens in this Influenster campaign. I'm a big fan of the InkJoy line and have always appreciated their smooth writing experience. However, this particular set left me incredibly disappointed. Right out of the package, I noticed the pens barely wrote. I had to scribble and "scratch" on paper for what felt like an eternity just to get the ink flowing. Even after this lengthy priming process, the pens still didn't deliver the smooth, glide-like writing I've come to expect from InkJoy. Instead, they felt scratchy and inconsistent. I'm truly hoping I just received a defective pack because the InkJoy pens I've used in the past have been fantastic. It's disheartening to experience such a stark difference in quality. I'm not sure if this is a widespread issue or just a fluke, but I'm definitely hesitant to purchase this particular set again.

When first using the pens the ink didn’t have a flow but once the pen was used it flowed. The pens had a thicker bottom so if you have smaller hands it might not be as comfortable write with. Overall, I enjoy using the pens and will definitely seek out this brand again.😊

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These pens are thick! They're easy to hold, but a little heavy. Medium point makes a pretty thick line. I used several to grade papers and found the rollerballs skip leaving a dotted line rather than a smooth line.
