A: I would bet on it. The owner's manual is the definitive judge, but there was only glycol-based antifreeze available back then. If you can drain the engine block as well as the radiator, this is for you.

I added some to my car and put it in the back in case I actually have a leak and need more urgently. Not to mention, I’d rather not have this super dangerous chemical in the house around my pets! Well, come to find out the child proof cap is only useful when the bottle is upright. Tip it, and it’ll leak EVERYWHERE. I don’t think I’m out of line to expect it to be liquid tight! So now I need to throw out my trunk liner and buy a new one. I would not recommend unless you happen to have a garage or something to store it far away from kids and pets.

Coolant is universal now. Regardless of what people say some tests to different temperatures while others require adding water. APart from that a quality coolant is a quality coolant.

Great quality and price for this coolant! I own a 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee with 147k miles! This coolant performs very well during harsh driving conditions. Specially off-road, with heavy engine loads at low speed.

This product gets good reviews so I thought I'd try it. It has been a few years since I did an antifreeze change in my truck and I simply forgot that I needed full strength antifreeze and not this. The V-6 engine called for almost 3 gallons so I ordered and got three. Where my memory failed me, was that you can typically drain the radiator from a petcock and drain HALF the antifreeze. After flushing with water (heat engine, drain repeat) you have very dilute antifreeze trapped in the engine block, in my case roughly 12%. If you top off the radiator with 50/50, your antifreeze is nowhere near the 50% solution recommended. There are supposedly drain plugs for the engine, but not part of the "handyman's" normal antifreeze change. Perhaps if you want to pay a pro to do this, the 50/50 would be the chosen product. In my case, I needed a gallon of full strength antifreeze since what was trapped in the engine had been diluted by flushing with water. I have not yet checked the solution with a hydrometer, but my understanding proportional math tells me I'm very close to a 50% solution at the end of my effort.
