Peanut Oil - 128oz - Good & Gather™

I haven't received this order which was suppose to be shipped and reived by 9/13/25. Today is 9/23/25 still not received. I'm charged for the item unable to get a refund. This is robbery.

I love this oil but the price has gone up so much in the past year it’s hard to buy it. It was $13 1.5 years ago and now is $18.

If you try to control the flow of oil you add into the sauce pan, you will find it not going into the sauce pan but flow along the bottle. The bottle mouth is poorly designed.

This is a great price and so great for our little deep fryer.

This was my first time trying this peanut oil. I've only tried the one from aldi that comes out around Thanksgiving. With that one, i have never noticed a strong odor. This one leaves a used oil odor that I dislike. I'll use this one up but won't be purchasing again. It heated up fine and I used it to fry chicken. My husband also commented on the lingering odor of oil.

I use it for high-heat cooking. It works great for sautéing veggies, plant based meat alternatives, tofu, seitan, tempeh and even pancakes! For those of you that wanna stay away from canola or soybean oil, this is for you. I personally like the taste of it and how much crispier things get vs canola/soy oil. What turned me onto it was going to Five Guys and getting their fries as they are fried in peanut oil.

I have purchased this 1 gallon of peanut oil quite a few times over the years. Now it's almost doubled in cost so I think I'll switch to regular canola oil. It's also harder to find because not all Target stores carry it. I mainly used this peanut oil for deep frying egg rolls or fried chicken. It works and the foods taste good; however, it doesn't make your foods taste significantly better than other oils in my opinion. When you use this oil you can't necessarily tell that it's peanut oil which is a good thing. I also used this oil when cooking most foods on a regular frying pan on an electric stovetop like scrambled eggs or vegetable stir fry since peanut oil has a high smoke point. Peanut oil has a higher smoke point than olive oil and some other vegetable oils which is good. If it goes down in price, then I'll probably purchase it again.

I don’t get any smell from this oil. It should smell like peanut oil. Not sure if this is authentic peanut

Great tasting peanut oil and price is good. We used it to make Buffalo Wings and they turned out perfectly! Crispy on the outside & moist/tender on the inside. Will definitely purchase this again!

Good price for the size. Not overly strong like some other brands

Impossible to open without injury or damage. The bottle is so flimsy that when you unscrew the lid, it twists the plastic. I even used a razor to cut the safety ring loose so that it would spin easier. No such luck. Dropped the bottle and the bottom broke out. Half the bottle is done; all over my clothes, shoes and floor, but at least it’s open. What a waste of money.
