Fake rum + plasticky eggnog flavors
I’m sorry, but the eggnog flavor is so artificial it was nearly sickening on the first try. It has a wonky fake rum flavor and plasticky aftertaste that my mother and I can’t stand, and it’s only tolerable to us if we dip them in real eggnog. That said, my dad thinks they’re okay since he’s not as picky about cookies as us; we’re used to cookies we’ve made from scratch with high quality ingredients. Pepperidge Farms is usually as good as store bought cookies can get for us, but I recommend passing on these and either going for the seasonal Milano flavors or substituting eggnog for the milk with white cake mix for easy eggnog flavored cupcakes.

Everyone is different. To my palate these taste buttery and creamy with a hint of egg nog flavor. Almost like those ringed old fashioned flower shaped butter cookies but with a touch of another flavor. I do not detect an unpleasant aftertaste although the taste does linger nicely for me. Nasty & Broken
I had high expectations. Here's what I got: I was promised 21 distictive cookies. In reality there were only about 4-6 different designs with multiples of each. The top was sticky too the touch, which was unpleasant (Neurodivergents beware). The bottom row of cookies was flipped upside down and a lot of cookies were broken. And last but not least, the eggnog flavor was just "off" - there was a hint of nutmeg, but it didn't remind me of the creamy beverage at all. I ended up throwing the bag away without even finishing a whole cookie.
