    I usually like the Threshold brand / Target private label, but these towels are not great. When new, they felt luxurious and soft to the touch, but after 1 or 2 washes in the machine, they started pilling, linting and falling apart.

    These towels stay wet, so your next shower you’ll have a damp towel. Which means they also stink quickly. And after only a few months they are horribly snagged. When I bought these, I also kept my old towels for guests. Those towels are over ten years old and look better than these.

    I've never had a towel shed this much in my entire life. After using them, you're completely covered in a black film of fuzzies that you have to scrub off of yourself. I've washed these 3 times now. I shake one out over the tub, and you can see tons and tons of lint and fibers everywhere. Some larger balls of flint even. How is that acceptable?

    Black lint everywhere! After 2 washings by themselves & very long dry cycles, these towels are still shedding, covering a wet body from shower in black lint. Online advice said I may need to wash 4-6 times to stop the lint. Ugh, I wish I didn't remove tags. The towels are very fluffy & thick. If they didn't shed they'd be great.
