when I purchased this is clearly stated STEELBOOK version. Unbeleiveable that getting this from Target there was that massive discrepency and only got the regular switch case version which made the sale a rip off!

It says in the title it's the steelbook, and the description says steelbook while supplies last, I guess the thought would be that if it's available and the title says steelbook, that there were some steelbooks available, as most companies list steelbook and the regular launch listing separately. The games been out for a while, and unfortunately we didn't receive a steelbook - maybe we shouldn't have expected it, but when we saw there was a specific Target Circle deal for the steelbook addition, we kinda though that meant the steelbook was back in stock. Disappointing. It's an amazing game, but we are waiting two stars because of the fact that this isn't the steelbook edition, it is only the Royal edition in a regular Nintendo case. If you're looking at reviews for the games, this is probably one of the best games that we've ever played, but we were really looking forward to getting a steelbook edition

False advertising, bait and switch. I’m sure it’s a great game. Unfortunately this is the standard game in the plastic case, not the steelbook edition that was listed when I placed my order. Ordered it twice thinking there was a mixup, however received the regular edition both times.
